I don't doubt that mentally, Zeke is ready, just as he said lately, although, being physically football ready is another animal entirely! As we all know, being in good football condition is another animal entirely and requires a certain amount of time and reps to condition properly.
Assuming he plays in New York or whenever, most likely, he'll be limited in his number of carries. Let's not expect his normal 25 carries to be the case. Fortunately, there's Pollard, Alfred Morris and Chunn to back him up and provide sufficient relief to keep him fresh.
That's also to Zeke's advantage, in order to prevent the onset of a hamstring pull or something similar. The Cowboys normally err on the side of caution to help avoid a possible setback. That should allow him to remain healthy until his football conditioning improves.
