Let's observe what occurred in 2022 vs San Fran.

Yes, Dak threw a costly 2nd interception and that sucked (and I was even about to give up on him at that moment) but then so did Mahomes in the Super Bowl. And got stopped on 4th and inches from his own 10.

On those 2 drives almost looking surely like SF could've blew the game open....KC defense allows 0 points.

Cowboys defense played well overall vs SF but Mahomes and Dak had basically the same game against SF outside of the final OT drive. It was against the same team too. This should tell you everyone struggles against SAN Francisco at this critical moment of the season.

The issue was more on SFs only TD drive, things fell apart on that drive. Defense overall played well, but we had ultimate selfish me-me Diggs letting that INT fall right thru his breadbasket - and his nonchalant, non self chastising attitude afterwards like he doesnt care as long as hes paid. He could've knocked the Kittle catch loose, but he didn't even try. Why not get a McDuffie or Snead who are cheaper, better coached, and make critical plays at critical times? If you let SF have 2 extra opportunities, you get exactly what you deserved.

Fastforward 2023. Vs Green Bay at 14-0 fine. But the 3rd TD should've been stopped. Gilmore looked like he didn't know who he was supposed to cover on that 3rd TD given up. That should've been 3 instead of 7...you don't give up plays that easily. Bland gave up some dumb routes. Bell hasnt looked the same since the Buffalo game, like the wind got knocked out of his sails. Clark is just an average LB and you can't roll into the playoffs with such paltry linebackers. I get it Overshown and Vander Esch were injured, but where was the healthy Parsons? A step short and a 2nd late. Would anyone still take Parsons over Chris Jones? Everytime I open a Parsons thread here before January, people say Parsons is better. You watched the 2 Super Bowls vs San Fran and the Championship game against the Bengals.....and you'd still take Parsons??? Lol.

The defense did not improve in the 2nd half. So yes, I blame very little of Green Bay on Dak. The defense was never gonna stop sucking in order for an comeback to materialize.

In '22 you can blame a lot of it on Dak and I agree he needed one more drive and that didnt happen, but overall hes still a Top 3 QB in the league. I'm taking him over everyone except Mahomes and Burrow. Lots of sites have him in the Top 3. Certainly Top 5 based on last year. Why should I not believe what I see? Why should I not trust official publications? Why should I listen to loudmouth fans instead?
Thats cool. Your prerogative to love the guy on a personal level......but since you're in a very tiny minority here, be sure to shut off the lights when he's off the team.

No one is blaming him for everything, We are blaming him for what he brings to the table on the field when it matters. EVERYONE knows the DEFENSE sucks and is put together like a band aid, They don't get a pass but when the guy that's HOLDING the football on offense for us does the same thing every year, providing free gifts to the opposing offense; I'd think you'd blame him to if you watched these games. You'd think he'd figure it out after the 2 SF playoff lost and the regular season SF lost that the football is very important. We can't have a QB that gives the ball away and we can't have a Def that can't stop a lick. Everyone needs to share blame but DAK gets more of it because he is the highest paid so called leader that is in the best shape of his life every season just to come out flat when it matters.

JERRY needs to get more of it, this is the issue..we have 28 years of proof to what the problem with this franchise is..until this is fixed you will just be blaming another person on the sideline just as has happened the last 28 years...the thing is we have had no other person in this for 28 years except ole Jerry....Until this FO changes its approach to build a team no QB will be good enough to bring the trophy back..how many more times do we need to see this re run?

You'd get benched because what you're implying doesn't exist outside of your own twisted mind and you know it. Most people don't like Dak because he's a greedy phony off the field and a fraudulent stat padding QB who isn't getting the job done on the field, that's it. No need to make things up because your list of excuses and reasons to defend the bum is getting thinner by the day.
You don’t speak for “everyone”….though your assessment of him is that he’s “greedy and phony” says it all lol….further proving what people have said.

come on now you want us to keep him so we can suck for years. :D
At this point I don’t think there’s an ideal outcome left. If you were going to extend him, it should have been done last offseason, or at least at the beginning of this one. Every day you wait he gets more and more expensive. Wait until everyone sees what Tua and Love get; it’s probably going to jump the QB market higher than anyone expected due to the enormous cap jump this year. And if you were going to move on from him, he should have been traded at the start of FA before Atlanta settled on Cousins, before TB re-signed Baker, before Wilson went to PIT. Letting him play his last year on a weaker roster than last year and then leaving in FA doesn’t benefit anyone.

Whatever happens now, unless it’s soon, will be at the unnecessary detriment of the Cowboys.

I never thought you backed Dak, nothing you have said comes across that way....Spend some time on Twitter? why you feel like twitter has a good gauge of truth to it? that would explain alot...

I went back and read your originally reply and I must apologize you were quoting someone else’s comment which I thought you wrote and was directed at me. So my bad it wasn’t clear. Anyways back to your original post I don’t disagree with you, but it’s not one sided and that was my original point. I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy. Look cool insult away, but don’t cry victim when it comes your way. That was my point.
