I would love this comment if I could.I wouldn't trust the opinion of someone that puts Jimmy G in the Top 5 of anything, so I'd disregard that. Kyler is actually pretty good given his circumstances, but we should all know by now that judging a rookie is ridiculous. Dak knows and we know what his worth is, and that's all that matters. He's great QB. End discussion.
Soooo,
NFL Live just did a segment where co-host and former DL Rob Ninkovich from the Hatriots gave his "TOP 5 QBS Under Age 30". Here they are, in order of Ninkovich's preference, with #1 being his top QB:
1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Deshaun Watson
3. Lamar Jackson
4. Kyler Murray
5. Jimmy Garoppolo
Is there anyone who would seriously take Kyler Murray or Jimmy Garoppolo over Dak? Heck, I wouldn't even take Deshaun Watson over Dak, and I would have to think very hard about taking Lamar Jackson over him.
Nothing to get mad about. The only one I would vehemently disagree with is Jimmy G. I just think he is vastly over rated.Soooo,

When I compared him to Kordell Stewart, I was thinking less of their running styles (of which Jackson is better) but the length of their careers as running quarterbacks. Slash was a flash in the pan. I don't think he lasted very long as a quarterback. Vick lasted a bit longer because he sat out for a couple of years due to the dog fighting deal. But he also learned to pass when he reentered the league which extended his career.agree with Watson, hes does more with less , always seems to make a play when needed under duress..Jackson can throw as well but the fact hes more like Mike Vick then Kordell.. dont underestimate that part of his game..hes not slash he is known for running but also moving and throwing on the run.. he may fade a bit but he has that IT factor that drives him to be great, not just his legs..you cant leave the 2019 MVP or runner up MVP off the list..
But dak belongs on the list at 4 IMO
Huh... did it hurt?Soooo,

Exactly
QB # A - 184-272, 67.6% Completion, 14 TD's, 8 Picks, 2054 Yards passing, QBR 60.3, 15 drops, 39 bad throws
QB # B - 230-360, 63.9% Completion, 12 TD's, 5 Picks, 2553 Yards passing, QBR 60.9, 15 drops, 63 bad throws
QB # C - 218-319, 68.3% Completion, 18 TD's, 9 Picks, 2,777 Yards passing, QBR 82.1, 20 Drops, 38 bad throws
So QB C, had the best completion %, most touchdowns more picks but throwing 47 more passes than QB A, most yards passing, highest QBR, most dropped passes BUT least amount of bad throws
Check the stats - Watson is having an outstanding year as a passer. As for Jackson, barring injury I think he will be viable longer than RGIII because they aren't trying to force him into a mold he cannot fit in, and they are taking full advantage of his full range of talents. Just how long is the question, because he is going to take more hits than other QBs.Jackson and Watson is a fad that will end soon, see RG3,. If they don’t become better passers they won’t last long. Murray is a bit different because in that system he gets rid of the ball super fast. Jimmy G is horrible, after Monday night most of the football world who doesn’t think he is bad is on drugs. Mahomes is great but his body will most likely fail him. None of these guys have the frame of Dak. I’d take Mahomes over him and that’s it but I’d know it was a 2-3 year investment and no more!!!

Lamar Jackson will have no staying power imo, we shall see.
Not supporting his list, but...Soooo,
