You're so wrong, DD. Dak is tied with Mahomes with the most 400+ passing games since 2016. You don't throw for that amount of such games if you're not a passer. Plus, Dak had never had more than 11 INTs in a season until this season, so this season was a rare outlier, especially since he didn't have any legit receiving weapons around him other than CeeDee playing behind a porous Oline that ranked 28th out of 32 teams when it came to pass blocking win rate. For anyone to claim that Dak is not a passing QB simply hates the player. Plain and obvious.
I was mainly talking about 2016 and dak did not have a 300 yd game that season. I think he only got over 200 a few times.

this is not always a good thing, many games where a qb goes over 400 they lose the game.
or they are just beating up on a weak team.
Dak is up and down with his passing, never been consistent, and lately he has been worse than usual, but still has some good games.

If that stat above meant anything, you would be saying dak is = to Mahomes, so is that what your saying? Is that what you think?

Dak is a good qb, but he has accuracy problems. Tight windows has nothing to do with it although the separation last year by the wide receivers was subpar.
I think his decision making during critical in-game situational moment decisions was more of a problem than his accuracy. His INT to CeeDee during the 49ers playoff game was right on target. Problem was he threw it too late when CeeDee was cutting back towards the incoming DB from the flats who tipped the football right into the LB's hands. Dak has to understand the situation how it's 2nd & 2, the ball is at the 49ers 18 yard line, there is a little over 2:00 minutes left, and the last thing you need is to force a pass into tight coverage and turn it into a turnover. Who gives a darn what Kellen Moore called from the sidelines. Change the darn play in the huddle or keep the ball and run with it for the 1st down. At least you get to keep the ball and run out the clock while you score at least 3 points. If you don't have trust in your kicker, your front office should have had the back up kicker picked up during the week on the sidelines ready to come in and kick the FG. But under no circumstance do you pass the football into tight coverage on 2nd & 2 at your opponent's 18 yard line with around 2 minutes left in the 1st Half.

Fine but when you demand to be the highest paid qb like he did you end up with Noah browns. Romo wasn’t much better but he at least elevated his receivers

Cowboys receivers who have gone to go play for other teams, these ex-Cowboys had their best career receiving single season under Dak:

Cole Beasley
Amari Cooper
Brice Butler
Cedrick Wilson
Geoff Swaim

Its funny but this is a topic both the Dak supporters and detractors agree on: Dak threw into coverage a LOT last year.

The debate starts with why. IMO, this is not a Dak thing and I say this as someone who isn't a fan. Early in his career, Dak was a low INT guy. It was to the point where he got grief for it here as "Dink and Dak". He always found and took the easy throw. Any change from that was a result of change of circumstances.

I blame Moore. First off, the stupid *** draw up the middle to Zeke out of the shotgun that got 1 yard on average which he ran on first down a ridiculous percentage of the time just sets everyone up for failure. Dak was under center far more as a rookie, particularly on early downs and this gave the team more options for play action, various runs, etc. After that, they publicly said that they wanted Dak to be "more aggressive". They basically taught him to throw to his first read even if the guy was covered. We all saw many, many plays where Dak threw to a covered player while there was someone else open.

Before someone points out the stats on the offense, I'll again point out that the Cowboys defense lead the league in takeaways two years in a row. The team got a lot of early leads and short fields as a result. On a per drive basis, Dallas was 17th in yards and 17th in plays. This wasn't an offense that was flying down the field every time they got the ball nor were they sustaining drives.

Huge momentum swing! Lol

what was the score at halftime? Do you think our kicker missing his 7th extra point in a row after our first TD was a momentum swinger?
Do you mean the extra point that was blocked? Funny how you classify it as a miss without mentioning the block.

As for momentum swing, Dak's 2 INT's cost Dallas at least 3 points and led to SF's 6 points, so a 9-point swing in a game decided by 7 points.

The only thing you give me a chuckle is seeing how much it pains you to realize Dak is not going anywhere anytime soon. Toodle-oo...Hi De Ho...Giggles...
Unreal that you celebrate Dak not going anywhere as if celebrating mediocrity. Well, 2023 is the "No ExcuseTour" after Dallas made the moves they did for Dak.

Dak elevated Cedric Wilson, Noah Brown, Gallup, Cobb and even had you guys think Amari Cooper was a top 10 receiver. Dalton Schultz, Blake Jarwin……
