I wonder if Lamar Jackson has to deal with this too from Raven fans? Hmmm

Signed, sealed, and delivered.... boys.

Most of the "Dak is gone" thoughts are hinged upon whether he wants to be here or not. If he wants to be here, the deal is pretty much done - because he holds all the leverage... and we know Jerry will eventually give in. Stephen probably wants him here even more.

The only way Dak leaves is if he doesn't wanna be here. We know what the braintrusts of this team are gonna do.

I fully believe that the deadline is not before Game 1,

and I don't believe his agent one bit that he wouldn't sign a deal in the middle of the season,

but let's just say even if it does go that far, They still have that month before free agency hits between February and March that he can sign a deal , IF NOT, then or here's a crazy notion he shops his services because he feels slighted here he wants to be wined and dined by four or five teams that will be happy to bid on his services very highly by the way, probably run up the bill ,then bring those or at least the highest bidder the best deal to Jerry and still allows Jerry to match it ,and still remains a cowboy.. that COULD Happen...

everybody who thinks he's gone or the likelihood he's gone if he doesn't sign by game one they're delusional Prescott wants to be here and the front office wants him to be here but it's a sticky type of deal when you're asking a front office in a league that has a hard salary cap and that has a roster limit to try to give a player in this position,

this kind of deal show me around the league because I still haven't seen it over the last what 20 years if you want to go back 10 years that's fine show me a player who's been on the same team going for his third contract and the contract happens to be up for record-breaking NFL deal with the highest biggest contract in NFL history going into a players 9th year?

How many players in the NFL, not just quarterbacks, but players have been on the same team that long in the third contract is what this is going to be ,show me how many of those were actually done most players are on a team that long like tank they end up giving a discount they rework their contract they take less money to stay on the team it's like their last contract and it's usually lower not higher this is a record-breaking deal that the front office has to figure out is it good for the team not just the fans not just the player but long term...

I mean nobody really wants to discuss this but I'm just curious on how many players have been in this exact position and the team actually paid them it doesn't seem like a lot I mean it couldn't be I mean it's the third contract and it's a record-breaking biggest contract to ever be handed out to any NFL player in there going into year 9?

Hahahaha! Dak has 0 chance of getting to a SB. Plays like a backup in the playoffs.

And your statement is fair, no problem. With that said.... since it is a team game, what about our other starters who are stars and played like backups in the playoffs?

Are they excused?

Stopped reading at NFL MVP runner up, it’s the only ammo you have and it’s totally worthless. Stop wasting my time Private Brown-Nose.

What other MVP candidates do you consider totally worthless? I'm just curious because I've never in all of my years heard an MVP candidate in any sport be considered "totally worthless".

So is Dak the first one in sports history or are there other totally worthless MVP candidates in sports?

There are many here who think Dak is totally worthless. It’s the CowboyZone. Where lowlifes come to hate.

It looks like 5 years.
Look man stop believing what you see here and read.... It is Friday 2 days before game day and I know you're still holding out hope but I'm saying it's a big if I'm not saying Prescott's gone because of my belief this could go all the way to free agency and Prescott could still bring a deal to Max and he can still be here until it's officially over it's not over.

I'd like to focus on the Browns game though that's what we're up against , Prescott will be our quarterback if healthy for 17 games....that all io care about..

It’s just a matter of hours. And I don’t believe everything I see or read. Extending Dak is the only option. 3, 4 or 5 years not a big deal. So please stop telling me what to do.

First of all how did I deflect? I actually said that your statement was fair, did I not?

With that said, there are many quarterbacks who get paid what the market dictates. Don't be mad at me, be mad at the market.

Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert just got astronomical max deal contracts.... they haven't won a playoff game yet. So it's ok for them to get paid, but not our quarterback? If the market was dictated by "playoff play", then how does Herbert and Lawrence get the deals they got? How does Cousins get, what 2 or 3 max deals? What has HE done in the playoffs??

Again... I don't feel Dak is worth the top pay in the NFL, but other than Mahomes and maybe Burrow, which quarterback does?? Obviously you don't understand how the market works because the payscale market is always reset by the next highest contract, so on and so forth.

With that said, when someone agrees with your original point, that's not called deflecting cool guy. Learn the difference....

AGAIN, that doesn't mean it has to be done before game one... That's my opinion he doesn't have to sign by game one in order for us to believe that he's gonna be a dallas cowboy i....ll get done at some point before 2025...

The longer they wait, the more it will affect team chemistry. The dude’s been tagged twice and strung along in contract negotiations twice. He’s been told to prove it and has done so coming off arguably his best year in the league. He’s one of the first and last persons at practice. He organized throwing/receiving sessions with his TE’s and WR’s. The players see this. Just listen to what Cooks said about him. Just listen to what Tyler Smith said about him. If Jerry continues to jack him around it will affect team chemistry. Do you remember Charles Haley during Emmitts holdout?

First of all, this is a completely different kind of situation.... And by the way you're taking as far too personal and you're trying to tell us how all those players might feel like you live in their head you know the operations of their mind?

show me around the league where this type of deal has been done in the past a player going into year 9, on the same team, and a third contract which BTW will be a record-breaking NFL contract?

because I still haven't seen it over the last what 20 years, if you want to go back 10 years, that's fine ,
