STHU. Stay in your own lane. I Think, not sure, but Rockport does not need your help, or maybe he does. You two have fun.

So then why keep him?
I have asked him that question many, many times and he does not answer, so he must have me on ignore.

But he always says the same thing, no QB can win with the culture of the Cowboys, but, yeah, Dak needs to get paid otherwise it will be the worst time in our lives without him. So, instead of paying someone else to give it a try, give Dak tons of money because, well, he will never win a SB with the Cowboys, no QB will, that is his stance.

The dude talks in circles and does not even know it. How embarrassing.

You keep him because he gives you hope and with a lesser QB we’ll have no hope. It’s no fun watching a season when you have no hope. If you keep knocking on the door eventually there’s hope you could break through. We’re not going to be knocking on the door if we downgrade at QB. Our only hope of staying in contention is having a viable QB.

What other MVP candidates do you consider totally worthless? I'm just curious because I've never in all of my years heard an MVP candidate in any sport be considered "totally worthless".

So is Dak the first one in sports history or are there other totally worthless MVP candidates in sports?
He's the MVP runner up of stat padding against crap teams in the regular season, too bad he looks like an inept buffoon every time he has to face a real opponent.

Like I said, totally worthless but I know you giddy college fangirls love bringing up his garbage time stats and laughable accolades to justify why the Cowboys should give him money he doesn't deserve.

He loves parroting his nonsense about Dak leaving being the Cowboys' downfall, as if a few years of losing/rebuilding would be worse than sticking with that overpaid bum for another 5-6 and not winning anything anyway.

Hey Tyler, Dak won’t bash his teammates. He’ll just have his brother Tad it for him on Twitter.

People went from “he doesn’t want to be here… he’s gone” to “he sucks” in the blink of an eye.

If he re-signs it is going to be a bad day for a lot of fans.
Well... to be fair to them, Dak also went from "I stopped listening to Jerra" to "I want to Play for the Cowboys" on the same blink of the same eye

Signed, sealed, and delivered.... boys.

Most of the "Dak is gone" thoughts are hinged upon whether he wants to be here or not. If he wants to be here, the deal is pretty much done - because he holds all the leverage... and we know Jerry will eventually give in. Stephen probably wants him here even more.

The only way Dak leaves is if he doesn't wanna be here. We know what the braintrusts of this team are gonna do.

That is the polar opposite of what he's saying by insisting on 55 mil/season.

Love Daks heart and drive. But sometimes said player just isn't good enough. That said, I now see this deal getting done this weekend. Id be shocked if it was more than 3 years. Dak didnt make this statement UNLESS he knows where negotiations stand. I feel its imminent he gets signed/extended. Just based off his comments. That doesn't mean a team like Minnesota hasn't contacted Dallas to put feelers out on Dak. They have no QB essentially. Raiders? Same deal. Funny things can happen last minute.
I agree with most of it. But I see it differently with the feelers from Minnesota and Raiders (and perhaps other Teams) IMHO Dak has seen that not being a Dallas QB anymore is a strong possibility if the deal is not done before the 1st game, the bluffing has blown up and the so called leverage is not as strong as before for what Dak really wants (stay in Dallas where father Jerra will protect him on every shortcoming). It is likely he is cutting a local discount on the deal so we might see an under $60M deal for a short-term period, 2 years after 2025 maybe?

My preference is other, but Jerra will be Jerra. Ultimately it is his team and not my money.
