I don’t think there is any question Romo was a better thrower of the football..1000%

But that also isn’t the end all be all of being a QB
statistically Romo and Dak are identical. Their regular season winning percentage is very close with Dak at 64% vs Romo 59% (7 game differential over 134 games). Their Post season record is exactly the same. So at the end of the day they are the same QB with different styles. You can chose your style that you prefer.

Are you trolling? You have to be at this point.

I said I want a QB that is just as good as he is at home, on the road.

His splits home/road are very similar.

Dak is significantly better at home than he is on the road. We virtually had no shot at a SB if we were a WC because of it.

Give me Romo
Dak and Romo are not that much difference on the road, that's what you're not understanding

Exactly! If Romo was the starter, people would have the same questions about this team they have now
If Romo was the starter he would be in IR right now. No way would he has survived at any point in his career behind this OL and no running game. He not only had issues with INTs but fumbles. Dak has been under constant pressure especially lately. Our offense consists of Dak to CeeDee. Dak has been carrying this offense and has played outstanding! In back to back weeks he’s led us to TDs in the closing minutes. This is why he’s been in the MVP conversation all season.

Yes they are
I just showed you the stats, show yours. Also, I hope you're not trying to say we have a better chance on the road in playoffs with Romo because Dak has performed better on the road in playoffs than Romo has

They have almost identical progression in stats as they have matured. This myth about surrounding talent is only because people choose to focus on a few players. Both had some great teams, strengths and opportunities on both. The main difference with their stat progression is because Romo came from a small school, and really had to develop first, while Dak was SEC and ready to go, he has three years on him. Romo was putting up a QB year like this at 33, not 30. So maybe we get some more out of Dak before it’s over. Playoff records are almost same too.

The 2014 team was better than this team. The 2014 team had DeMarco Murray who led the league in rushing and set a franchise record with 1845 yards. He also put up 13 TDs. That’s about 600 yards more than Pollard and Dowdle combined this season. Murray had 6 more TDs than Pollard and Dowdle. Our OL was the best in the entire league in 2014 and it wasn’t even close. Our current OL isn’t nearly as good. Romo was able to manage games in 2014. He had 435 passing attempts, compared to 554 attempts for Dak this season. He has over 500 more passing yards than Romo in 2014 because he’s having to carry the offense with only ONE dependable WR. He’s been under constant pressure all season. Romo would have never made it the entire season having to air it out behind this OL that’s been riddled with injuries. Care to move those goal posts?

You just did, so it's pointless to argue with you about it. There are a lot of things to consider, such as the play of the defense, the coaching , etc., but if you want to discount that his numbers were better or at least just as good, I can't stop you.

Oh ok. Those same fans are saying the same thing about Josh Allen. Another QB way better than Dak
It’s time for yall to fix your top 5 QBs lists….just because Josh throws a pretty underhand ball doesn’t make him better than Dak. Josh Allen and Justin Herbert have great reputations for having done nothing.
