Tony Romo had a passer rating of 113.2 with 3,705 yards, 34 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in 15 games in 2014. He completed 69.9 percent of his passes.

Dak has a passer rating of 104.2 with 4,237, 32 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 16 games. He has completed 68.4 percent of his passes.
Care to move those goalposts?

Romo sees the field better, but what does it matter now?
Dak is our quarterback and wishing for Romo, Aikman, Staubach or Meredith doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
It's ride or die with Dak.
If Romo saw the field better, you may he threw all those interceptions on purpose

Romo concievably had a better roster. Dez. Witten (HOFer), good running game, better OL. he choked in playoffs as well several must win (win and get in) games...he couldn't produce even when we had a home game and #1 seed. he was a bit wild and loose with the ball.

but right now, they are both about the same. neither has accomplished anything in playoffs. Dak still has a chance. he just has to prove it.
So Crayton dropping a huge 3rd down pass that Romo scrambled to get him the ball , get the first down and either flip the field or score and/ or Romo dropping a dime at the end where Crayton slowed down instead of running through the route was Romo Choking? Or the Dime he threw to Dez … the murray fumble was Romo choking?

Yeah, and the other guy lost the ball in the lights.

Do you know why that happened? Romo had BFF Whitten and the receivers never ran strong routes because they didn’t expect the football. This current team has a plan. They don’t know who’s getting the football so they’re ready every play.

The 2014 team was better than this team. The 2014 team had DeMarco Murray who led the league in rushing and set a franchise record with 1845 yards. He also put up 13 TDs. That’s about 600 yards more than Pollard and Dowdle combined this season. Murray had 6 more TDs than Pollard and Dowdle. Our OL was the best in the entire league in 2014 and it wasn’t even close. Our current OL isn’t nearly as good. Romo was able to manage games in 2014. He had 435 passing attempts, compared to 554 attempts for Dak this season. He has over 500 more passing yards than Romo in 2014 because he’s having to carry the offense with only ONE dependable WR. He’s been under constant pressure all season. Romo would have never made it the entire season having to air it out behind this OL that’s been riddled with injuries. Care to move those goal posts?

Im gonna say something that not a lot of people talk about and will probably ruffle some feathers, but I'm really out chea, so here it goes. Dak has a good speaking voice and people seem to gravitate towards him, I think he can be a successful commentator after his career, and would be hilarious if he took Romo's job at CBS lol
That is certainly possible but on a serious note it is more highly likely Dak Prescott (if it is what he would like to pursue) would be invited by another network or streaming service. For example, Amazon Prime owns the Thursday Night Football package. They are reportedly underwhelmed with Al Michaels.

Michaels would highly likely be gone for a while by the time Prescott retired from pro football. They would struggle finding a popular color analyst like Troy Aikman and Tony Romo. It is quite possible AP would hope to strike gold with an ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback and outbid anyone else in securing Prescott's services.

And then Prescott's perspective should be taken into account. Would he desire following in either Aikman or Romo's footsteps where they made their names in television broadcasting? Or. Would Prescott seek to establish his own broadcasting legacy separate from any connection from his franchise quarterback predecessors?

People, who choose to get in front of a camera, do not usually like copying others. Heck. Prescott has a well-established and highly lucrative endorsement side hustle but he is not exclusively copying Romo commercials, lol.

It really isnt. Romo has NEVER looked like the worst QV in the league
They used to be a poster going around with 32 NFL teams. Every single jersey in the caption was anyone who caught a ball by Romo please stand up. And everybody was standing. I think he threw an interception to every team in the entire league.
