They used to be a poster going around with 32 NFL teams. Every single jersey in the caption was anyone who caught a ball by Romo please stand up. And everybody was standing. I think he threw an interception to every team in the entire league.
Oh ok. Those same fans are saying the same thing about Josh Allen. Another QB way better than Dak

Tony Romo had a passer rating of 113.2 with 3,705 yards, 34 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in 15 games in 2014. He completed 69.9 percent of his passes.

Dak has a passer rating of 104.2 with 4,237, 32 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 16 games. He has completed 68.4 percent of his passes.
Care to move those goalposts?
Dak also has 242 rushing yards and 2 rushing Touchdowns.

Yeah, if Tony was surrounded with this talent level we'd be going to the Super Bowl and I wasn't a huge Romo fan.

A friend of mine asked me my thoughts on this subject. I asked a few friends and was a bit surprised by their reaponses. So I figured I’d ask the board. Who is the better QB?
You're asking this question before the playoffs? That's where each of them do their most damage, am I right?

Tony WAS surrounded with this talent level in 2007.

13-3, first round bye. You think that was all Romo?

He was more interested in Daisy Dukes and Cabo then he was getting ready for the G-Men.

He did finally get that maturity, but by then his body was gone.

And Dak hasnt had a single ounce more success while playing on better teams
He still playing so there is time... NFC Championship game ends this debate then, Agreed?

Roger's teams were better than Danny White's team but surely no one is looking at those teams... it's a preference and not a fair comparison as every team changes every year at the end of the day. I enjoyed and rooted for both.. even Quincy to get his habits under control. :(

Romo was a better QB in my opinion.
I think he was a better thrower, and what he had to do pre-snap translates into him being partly the O coordinator.

I think Dak has been running the offense whereas Romo seemed to also have to coordinate it as well.

I also think Romo was much better at overcoming a sucky game and still leading them to wins.

All of this not to say that Dak isn’t good and playing well. He is and he does.

This Romo vs Dak debate comes up every year at this time when the Cowboys are heading into the playoffs, with some fans saying, imagine how much better we would be if Romo was the QB. It’s obvious some of you weren’t around when Romo was the QB or have forgotten what the playoffs were like with him.

Exactly! If Romo was the starter, people would have the same questions about this team they have now

NO.

Dak cant pass Romo until he becomes wat better at being a QB.

None of you Dak fans would say Jalen Hurts is a better QB than Dak even though he has played in a SB.

Or is that different?

And not all games are on the road, and the fact is Romo didn't perform that much better than Dak on the road, but has performed a lot better than Romo has at home
Are you trolling? You have to be at this point.

I said I want a QB that is just as good as he is at home, on the road.

His splits home/road are very similar.

Dak is significantly better at home than he is on the road. We virtually had no shot at a SB if we were a WC because of it.

Give me Romo
