This is like asking do girls like big or small. At the end of the day, none of it matters. The only thing that matters is a title/s. So all of the QBs after Aikman sucked because they didn't bring titles. The jury is still out on Dak. Same goes for coaches, etc.
Well, if you like M&M's, the Cowboys have a coach that has won a SB.

I’m going to say Romo because if you listen to him commentate the game he was seeing the feild EXACTLY like he does he calls the game. I think I had faith in him if it was a 3rd and 56!!! It’s so unfortunate that his body couldn’t take what todays football players brush off as far as getting hit.. The NFL is the NOT FOR LONG and Dallas didn’t do him any favors when they didn’t let him compete for QB1 the following year.. I truly think this team would be in a better place for it.

no disrespect but are you saying we should just shut this forum down until after that happens? its just a discussion. I mean if someone were to ask me who I liked better as a QB, Danny White or Gary Hogeboom? I would have an answer, neither meant much because like you say neither took this team to the big game. Danny White btw

2013 - 2014 healthy Romo with this team, absolutely
Well, we have a healthy Dak with this team now...
I think him and the team know what is at stake, Deuce sitting waiting on a dream.

I hope Romo gets to call one of our playoffs games.
You don't like Romo, you will still wonder just how he calls it, win or lose.

Romo on the radio...Dak on the grass with a ball winning games.

Romo ran a HOF receiver out of town just like Jerry ran a HOF coach out of town.
who are you referring to, which HOF receiver? Are you referring to T.O.??? seriously? he had two years left in his career and they were less productive than his worst year with Cowboys. Heck, his replacement, Miles Austin, the next year got about 300 more yards than TO did with dallas in a year.

Romo's 8th year as starter was first year with real OL and that was with rookies for most part. by that time, you could see the wear in his body/play. It was too late for this team and Romo. It would be unfair to compare the benefits of Romo's last 5 years to Daks first 8 years (so far) especially when all aspects of this team and its talent level has been so much better for last several when compared to all of Romos career.
I am not bashing Dak. I think he can do something with this team, but yeah he needs to work on consistancy, his ability to see the open receivers, and speed at doing so.
so flozell, davis, gurode (center) and Free is not a real OL? I know they are not Martin or Tyron, but they were a good OL. among the better ones in the league. they were not chump change as some make it out to be.

Romo was healthy in 2013 and he had a 8-7 QB record. You guys who think he would have had success behind this OL with no running game and one dependable WR who’s not a jump ball artist are kidding yourselves. Dak is carrying this team. He’s had to attempt over 100 more passes than Romo during Romo’s last good season.

Lol ok, so you literally have nothing to back up what you're saying. Just your cataract eye test I suppose
Jalen Hurts went to a Super Bowl. So did Stan Humphries, Neil O'Donnell, Trent Dilfer, Jake Delhomme, Brad Johnson, and Tony Eason.

So by your silly logic, all those guys are better than Romo and Dak.

Checkmate. Now run along

well to be honest, I think we wouldnt have only one dependent WR with Romo. He is better at finding open receivers. Lamb would have a field day with him though.

Lamb has been the only WR who gets consistently open. It’s been the receivers not the QB. Romo depended on Dez a lot, because he could win jump ball battles and didn’t have to be open.

It’s still up in the air. Dak is a better run threat from the pocket. Romo was better at throwing receivers open. Deep ball is similar. Dak’s pocket awareness has improved this season - but is it enough to overtake Romo?

Neither has gotten their team to an NFCCG, as yet (that could change this season… COULD).

Here’s the BIGGEST difference to me. Dak has gotten zilch out of Michael Gallup this season. Romo could make a pedestrian receiver like Laurent Robinson look good (check Robinson’s career stats and ONE SEASON stands out glaringly). And Romo never had a problem hooking up with Dez.
