Jalen Hurts went to a Super Bowl. So did Stan Humphries, Neil O'Donnell, Trent Dilfer, Jake Delhomme, Brad Johnson, and Tony Eason.

So by your silly logic, all those guys are better than Romo and Dak.

Checkmate. Now run along
Again, what metric are you using? The fact that you can't name anything says a lot

That was a good OL with Adams, Gurode, Davis and Free. Certainly not as good as the OL’s in 2014 -2016 but it was good.
not going to argue over one or two years, you cannot deny our lack of any real concern for OL until latter part of his career when thay started with Tyron smith in '11, then really started rolling with travis fredericks, then martin, Leary. Romo was always running for his life until he didn't. Dak has as well, but overall I do think Dak has had it much easier. today tit for tat I think Romo would take this team farther, but I dont think Dak doesnt have what it takes to do that and yes he does still have plenty of time to change everyones mind about Romo vs Dak and I hope he does by a mile. Dak has had the road paved for him and no matter what he has done up to this point, he can make it so much better and I look to see it. Will see what he does in a few weeks.

I’m tired of arguing about Dak and Romo. Dak has been the better overall QB and we’ll end up with more division titles and playoff wins with him.

well can agree to disagree, but seeing that Dak will have more time with better talent, we will see exactly that

All Dak has to do is win one playoff game to have more playoff wins and appearances than Romo, and if he makes it the Championship game, which looks like a real possibility if we keep the 2nd seed, then I don't see how anyone can say Romo was better. Y'all seriously overrate Romo. As of right now, I think they're pretty much the same QB but Dak has time to pass him
Same QB? There were time Romo completely took over game and dominated. Idk if I’ve ever seen Dak take over a game.

Easily Romo especially when you consider the era. Dak is competing with mediocrity compared to Romo having to compete with a prime Brady, Brees, Manning, etc. Even the T2 QBs in Romo's era are for the most part beyond the current field.

The team never seemed to be a real united team with Romo. If you are going to isolate yourself you better be Aaron rodgers level good.
This is my biggest gripe about romo. Its the biggest reason y the teams him and witten on never did anything in the playoffs

We’ll have to agree to disagree because Romo had some very talented teams including one that had a Hall of Fame WR, TE and DE. There was no better Cowboys team under Romo or Dak than that 2007 Cowboys team. That team was 3-0 during the regular season against the two teams that ended up in the NFC title game.

A friend of mine asked me my thoughts on this subject. I asked a few friends and was a bit surprised by their reaponses. So I figured I’d ask the board. Who is the better QB?
Both rate as poor seconds.

But if i had to chose id take Romo.

Mr awww shucks let Dak deebo his spot. If Tony had Troy intangibles Dak would've been right back on the bench when he was healthy.

Then you haven't been watching, hell there's been games this year where Dak was damn near flawless

Yeah Bill parcels engulfed his philosophy in deep enough until Wade Phillip had enough time to screw that up against giants in playoffs. Team culture screwed that, but hey romo was young and first full year can be a little exciting.
Look I am not saying never played with talent, just not consistently.
We have had talent for years now, and this year right here with Dak as a starter marks the length of romos entire starting career as qb. ( what I meant about with more time he should have more wins etc…. )
at this point, I would like one qb to prove everything wrong, could Dak be that guy? Yes I actually think he could. Up to this point, I see inconsistency, vision problems but he is very talented, has heart, has command of his team, can play the game very well all the ingredients a team needs.
But if you read into a little more of what I wrote, what this team still struggles with is culture and focus as a team. Sometimes it feels like two different teams in a matter of couple weeks.
We need a bill parcels but with full control.
Does that mean McCarthy can’t do it? No, just stating an opinion based on decades of wasted talent

Parcells was stuck in the 80s. The game had passed him by. He liked pounding the ball and leaving his defense on the field to win games. We would have no chance today with his philosophy.
