Ehhhhh. I still think Jeffrey, Tate and Ertz as the top 3 is better than Cooper, Beasley and Gallup.

Ertz is just soooooo much better than anyone we have and Jeffrey is still a very good WR.
And don’t forget Algoloir

I was mind screwed on the redzone play. I still haven't figured out what the play was.

The thing that worries me about Prescott, and we saw it last night is when a potential play is developing he stutter-steps. It's like he's afraid to go for it and is ultra-protective.
That and he needs to process things better, like when he got sacked. It's happened all season.

But he settled down and he threw some nice passes. I'd try another season, but he needs an OC and a QB coach out of puberty.

I assume you are talking about that Gallup pass early that Collinsworth pointed out where Dak was just bouncing and then finally delivered the ball way too late. That jut happens way too much with Dak. He seems scared to pull the trigger at times.

And I can't take much more of Linehan. Even with some of the great calls last night, his lack of creativity at times is still there. And LOL at the Eagles being unable to stop the run despite the fact Linehan kept telegraphing it with Brown in the game.

Agreed. Those are the plays Dak is not benefiting from that most other qbs are. I am amazed that we had two RAC plays yesterday from the rookies...

Unless there is a surprise salary cap cut, It hink we are hanging our hopes on one of the backups developing into an OK starter next year. I think any of Jarwin, Schultz or Rico could potentially do that and next year's production will be better (can't get any worse) but I think our best hope for next year is an OK starter, not a good one.

On the road. Lesser supporting cast. Conservative gameplan. Went in and beat him, right in the middle of the ring so to speak.

All the tweets, and the smack from our fan base and theirs. The talking heads "Oh I would take Wentz over Dak".

He went in and beat him. There's so much to like with Prescott. Would have hung 350 on them if we just take the training wheels off in the second half and let the guy sling it; which we never do. He always has a huge first half then we go conservative.

That said - he outplayed Wentz. Still take our guy.

He did, but Im not buying the lesser supporting cast nonsense. Ertz was the ONLY thing where Wentz had the advantage. Give me Zeke and 200 yards all day long as a QB's best friend. Wentz had zero run game.

The way Collingsworth criticized Daks missed throws versus Wentzs was sickening.. Just the overall tone.. the bias is real
Not really. He gave credit to Dak when it was there, he's simply calling out the trash that some of us praise or ignore.

Over and over and over and over. LOL.
I watched the Rams game and they pointed out that they would run a fake jet sweep over and over and then actually run it and how caught off guard the defense was.
Linehan does the opposite.

You have a knack for twisting words other people didn't even say.

I said his team didn't play better. I didn't say they played poorly.

As for Dak not turning it over, that's because when it hit the defender in the hands, he dropped it. It's because when Dak scrambled unnecessarily, then dropped the ball with nobody anywhere near him, it took a fortuitous bounce and he scooped it up and threw it away. It's because he just happened to get rid of the ball a fraction of a second before having it stripped from the pressure he didn't feel coming from behind. Those are just 3 lucky plays that I remember. I'm sure there were more.

Dak definitely had some very good moments last night, but how many TD or big gain passes did he overthrow, or just not even see?
Uh-huh, and I gave you examples of Dak being at a major disadvantage when you consider special teams and the penalties.

The referees called the game as if they had Eagles jammies on. Wentz was “lucky” that his OL got to hug and choke our DL whenever they felt like it, giving him time in the pocket that shouldn’t have been there.

Dak won anyways. Carson lost. Because Dak was clutch and Carson wasn’t.

Looool, the Dak-a-zoids are hilarious.

Dak throws an easy 4-yard TD to Zeke (same easy throw he missed to Zeke earlier in the game BTW) and folks are crowing.

Nevermind all the missed reads, poor throws, spazzing out in the pocket that was clear to everyone else watching.

Yep, let's strike up the old "Who'd you Rather Have: Brady or Dak?" thread again!!!!

"wE g0tz oUr quoRterBak gUyz!!!"

I don't even think people hate Dak as much as some of you people think, but the excuse making for him makes people of sound mind want to point out all his mistakes.

It's ok. We know you so badly want Dak to fail for your own agenda. Wentz is the king of getting YAC but he is praised as the golden boy. When he's really the most overrated QB in this league and has accomplished nothing.

And if we swap starting tailbacks?

How does Dak do when he has no rushing game to lean on?

Wentz was the offense for the Eagles which is a strength for them. When Dak is the offense for us it usually is a long week on the zone.

Dak was the reason the run game was working.
8-8 would be luck. Dak is easily a 6-10 QB. All his homers are going crazy right now, but forgetting that Zeke was breaking runs for chunks of 15+ yards. Dak still looked like Dak, but Zeke and the o-line was eating that defense for dinner.

Dak's play in the first half opened up the run game.

i maintain that wentz is overrated. i'm not huge on "clutch," but wentz rarely brings his team down the field for a win. has he ever done it? especially if they needed a touchdown? he also gets bailed out by ertz on a weekly basis. ertz is impossible to cover at times, and having him as his safety net is enormous.

we saw what foles did in that offense last year. wentz has a lot of tools, and is better overall than dak obviously. but he's not in the class of brady, mahomes, goff, rodgers, etc. i don't even think he's better than ben or rivers.

Or if his running back doesn't run for 170...

Yes, he misses plays. Yes he has a bad habit that he will break of trying to escape out the back of the pocket. But he also doesn't kill us and plays great when it matters most.

Can't teach that.

I heard last night wentz leads the league in Interceptions dropped.

Dak had a good game.....this is the first game where the line gave him some time...Dak also plays better when we go to the no huddle.....
