you're armchair qbing. we were down 2 scores, and just got stuffed twice. every play moving forward was desperation. this wasn't a 1st quarter brain fart, it was a game we were likely losing and a forced play to possibly extend our slim hopes. again it was a bad play, and shouldn't have happened, but it's easy to understand (from my perspective)
We're all armchair QBing.
While I can and do understand your perspective, I can't cut the QB any slack for the poor choices he made culminating in the final nail in the coffin.
If I thought my QB was going to cave because he felt the game was already lost with 3 minutes left, and/or he was seeing ghosts because he didn't have all the starters on the o-line when they actually protected him very well on that play, I would lose faith in that QB both from an ability and a leadership standpoint.
That play, and a couple others in that game, are good examples of 'bad Dak' in a pressure situation. So far the only pressure situation he has had to deal with in this young season. Which is why I brought it up in my first post as an example to support my opinion that it is to early to judge Dak on any improvement on last year's propensity to toss some ints when he is needed to step up and make a play.
I think that is a very fair assessment given what we have seen so far. It's too bad some guys here, not you necessarily, can't get out of their feelings long enough to even try and honestly evaluate what they are seeing on Sunday.
I appreciate your even keeled approach to this difference in opinion, and not resorting to insults and temper tantrums like many seem destined to devolve to.
