I'm not sure what you mean. Can you be more specific?I wonder if there was any of that context missing from this assessment?

Feels like they lost two hall of famers and a starter from a single position group. Leaving that out seems to make any conclusions inaccurate at best if not downright dishonestI'm not sure what you mean. Can you be more specific?
This is their best team in decades. Enjoy the ride.I like it, but I have learned over the years not get to overconfident with the non Jiminy Johnson coached Cowboy football teams.(I know, its been that long) I always had confidence when Jimmy Johnson was on our sideline, today not so much. Lets hope these guys can put everything together this year.
Other teams get excuses for injuries. From our fans. When the Cowboys win. Let that sink in.Feels like they lost two hall of famers and a starter from a single position group. Leaving that out seems to make any conclusions inaccurate at best if not downright dishonest
Some of these people have no sense of intellectual honesty.. They will spew any nonsense that comes to mind if they think it will get a rise out of people. Doesn't have to have any basis in fact. Just needs to get them clicks/likes or whatever the hell else they're looking for here.Feels like they lost two hall of famers and a starter from a single position group. Yeah on both sides of the ball I can't think of a team since the 90's that was this good. Maybe the 2007 squad.. That bunch was loaded. I think only the head coach and the OC kept them from achieving greatness. Throw in a kicker who has yet to miss a FG in his career and the overall excellence of the special teams and this team even surpasses that one. This is their best team in decades. Enjoy the ride.
This sounds like just more excuses. Dak was under very little pressure from the pass rush on that particular play. He had every opportunity to buy all kinds of time and try to make something happen, but he stuck to the plan and tried to force the ball into an impossible situation.Feels like they lost two hall of famers and a starter from a single position group. Explain to me how the replacement lineman had any fault in that specific play. Some of these people have no sense of intellectual honesty.. How did those injuries affect the specific play under discussion?Other teams get excuses for injuries. From our fans. When the Cowboys win. Let that sink in.
When you mention 3 starting OL being out. It affects every play. Whether it be mental or not. If you are afraid of getting killed because your line isnt blocking, you may throw the ball when you dont want to.How did those injuries affect the specific play under discussion?
Largely, I agree with this. You've got to look at all aspects of it and there have been plays to be made and we just haven't made them. It might be a tight end dropping a pass (more than once), an overthrown ball, a penalty, a sack, a poor play-call. All these things are not necessarily the norm, but through four games, they make it look like there is a problem, when right now there are just a few things we needed to execute better. The redzone issue is a mirage that is overblown.
I like Mike he's doing what's best for the team. Taking the high-risk passes out and going with glorified screen passes with no blockers. I like Mike. After 4 games it looks like the turnovers have been rectified. Some credit should also go to MM for utilizing low risk, high percentage play calling. So far so good in that one respect.
You seem to be the only one discussing any specific play. The thread is about ball security on the season. And if you aren't able to comprehend the impact of having backup linemen in repeatedly letting the rush get pushed into your play affects the passing game AND the fact that them getting beaten on running plays down close making the QB feel like he has to force things then there's really no point in discussing football with you. Line failing to block, time running out in the game.. It all ties together. How did those injuries affect the specific play under discussion?
I was gonna post this exact thing about his 5 yd passes and none yard screens..most stats don't tell the whole story, that's why I only follow 1 stat..wins and losses. He’s not throwing the ball more than 5 yards very often.
Our defense and special teams also has as many TDs as him.
He is not deserving of your blind loyalty.
