What about your hero, Romo? STHUWhat has Dak's passing yards done for the Cowboys? The Dallas Cowboys, not the Dak Cowboys.

lmao...I thought you were talking about Radio, I mean Dak?What about your hero, Romo? STHU
You and the other hater brought up Dak, when no one was even thinking or talking about Dak. Dak lives in your minds 24/7.lmao...I thought you were talking about Radio, I mean Dak?
I just asked you a simple question and this is how you answer? You have no answer. Again, what has all them wonderful passing yards done for the Dallas Cowboys?
Those other teams may not have had the personnel or system to do so. You can’t simply assume every team chose not to.Right, but that still doesn't mean those teams since 1979 were not capable of passing for 4,000+ yards since at least 1 or more did. Those other teams simply chose not to.
Once again, those other teams chose not to. Still proves they could have if they wanted to since several other teams did. Those other teams may not have had the personnel or system to do so. You can’t simply assume every team chose not to.

More like, that talent was wasted for the Jason Garrett training program at QB, Dak Prescott…Records or not, Dak will end his career as another "Cowboy great" who never won anything under Jerry and Stephen Jones. He can join Martin, Tyron, Witten, Romo, Zeke, Dez and dozens of other guys whose careers were wasted.
Choker is being too nice.. he was just average, getting carried in a division that was in disarray for a long time. Hurts been to 2 SBs and Jayden Daniels in 1 year went way farther than Dak ever did and was their best player, not getting carried..Dak will forever be remembered as the biggest choker QB the Cowboys have every had. Nobody will think about any stupid regular season records.
Why are you talking about Dak? lmaoChoker is being too nice.. he was just average, getting carried in a division that was in disarray for a long time. Hurts been to 2 SBs and Jayden Daniels in 1 year went way farther than Dak ever did and was their best player, not getting carried..
Spot on!Let's not confuse piling up stats in today's Madden-version, fantasy football, offense-first NFL as a comparison to QBs or any other position of yesteryear. Today, there are more than a dozen wide receivers and tight ends who easily eclipse the number of yards and receptions than Drew Pearson's best season. Roger Staubach averaged 173 yards passing per regular season game during his career - Aikman averaged 200 yards. Roger threw a total of 153 TDs in his 11 year career which averages out to about 14 TDs per season. By today's standards, Roger and likely Troy wouldn't start for most teams - they would be considered "bus drivers." However, Roger, Troy, and Drew all are all in the Hall of Fame, Ring of Honor, and SB champions.
Doh! I thought this conversation was in another thread. My bad. lolDak Prescott is poised to break several Dallas Cowboys franchise passing records in 2025
Who started this thread? What was the thread about? You are bi-polar. Of course I mentioned Radio because you made the post!
The hell is wrong with you?
It proves nothing. You have no no way to prove what you are saying, and if you think you do, then you don’t know how to conduct proper research.Once again, those other teams chose not to. Still proves they could have if they wanted to since several other teams did.
You just can't handle the fact several teams since 1979 already were passing for 4,000+ yards. That definitely proves it was possible. The other teams simply chose not to do it. It doesn't diminish the teams that did. So, yes, teams were capable of passing for 4,000+ yards in the NFL since 1979, and it's been that way ever since. It proves nothing. And once again, you don’t understand that just because some teams did doesn’t mean every team could. I understand the facts. I know there are teams that passed for that much. That doesn’t mean every team could. You don’t understand the concept of proof. You just can't handle the fact several teams since 1979 already were passing for 4,000+ yards. Are you expecting every team to pass for 4k+ yards to make you happy? It doesn't work that way. The fact there were several in each decade who did shows teams were capable of passing for 4k+ yards since 1979, so my argument is valid since such accomplishment was proven. And once again, you don’t understand that just because some teams did doesn’t mean every team could. I used to bench over 400 pounds and I am human. Does that mean every human can bench 400 pounds?
none of your arguments trying to pump up Dak are valid. Are you expecting every team to pass for 4k+ yards to make you happy? It doesn't work that way. That is what happens when you only come here to argue. Bi-polar.Doh! I thought this conversation was in another thread. My bad. lol
I don't think you remember what you said. Here is your quote:Are you expecting every team to pass for 4k+ yards to make you happy? It doesn't work that way. The fact there were several in each decade who did shows teams were capable of passing for 4k+ yards since 1979, so my argument is valid since such accomplishment was proven.
Did Kurt Warner approve of all this? Is Cole Beasley online?I don't think you remember what you said. Here is your quote:
"Right, but that still doesn't mean those teams since 1979 were not capable of passing for 4,000+ yards since at least 1 or more did. Those other teams simply chose not to."
Your quote implies that EVERY team should have been capable of passing for over 4,000+ yards since those other teams simply chose not to do so. Those are your own words. I said that you cannot prove that, and stated that some teams either didn't have the personnel or scheme to pass for 4,000+ yards. There is no way to prove that every team could have passed for 4,000+ yards if they chose to do so. Somehow, you don't understand this rather easy concept.
Last year, teams like the Pats, Bears, Giants, and Browns passed for well under 4,000 yards. By your reasoning, they simply chose not to do so---completely ignoring that those teams flat out sucked personnel-wise, the real reason they didn't have a good passing attack. On the other hand, Philly (3100+ yards passing) chose not to pass that much because they had a great running attack. Do you see the difference between Philly and the other teams I mentioned? One has excellent personnel that let them play anyway they wanted, while the other four teams couldn't because they were ***. Or do you still believe that those teams didn't pass for 4,000+ yards because they, in your own words, "chose not to do so?"
