Dak Prescott just needs 4,725 yards to become the Dallas Cowboys' all-time leading passing leader

Pull up Aikman's stat line or anyone's for that matter. Their is no column for SB's.
Pull up a fifth grade reading material workbook and do its exercises and check your answers against the answer book and make sure you score 100% so you don’t strawman an argument with “but Aikman didn’t win SBs all by his lonesome”.

#1 offense, #7 defense, #1 defensive tds, 9 all pros (most in league), 7 pro bowlers (2nd most in league).

Not. Good. Enough.
His defenses were pushed around like they weren’t even there. He got the glamour stats with sacks and turnovers that helped beat lesser teams but when they played a physically strong team, they couldn’t hang and disappeared. I suggest watching the games instead of posting in the chat or game threads.

Epic fail.

Even a 5th grader knows a QB can't win a SB by himself.

Can't wait to Jerry to get the extension done with Dak, going to be great reading all the threads on how it was wrong.

That’s the part I completely disagree with. Dak has just enjoyed this era’s QB friendly rules and has an owner that has been patient enough with him. Many teams across the league currently have a QB on their roster that will break the old franchise records. But no, they won’t keep those new records for decades. It’s likely the next QB, that’s a decent enough player, will go ahead and set new records. It’s just the way the league is evolving.
No doubt it’s entirely possible and why I stated as I did without certainty . But if he resigns and ends up playing out his career here for another 5+.years then it’s more likely his stats could stand for a long time. Assuming of course
any QB’s following don’t have as long of a career.

Aikman has been the longest tenured starting Cowboys QB to date from 1989- 2000 which was 12 years so it’s historically unusual for this long of tenured Cowboys starting QB . So if Dak resigns which in itself could propel him to hold these records for an extended time.

Look up Troy's record without Emmitt Smith. It is not good.

Who was talking to you? You want a piece? Type it out and explain how last year's team was more than adequate to reach a Super Bowl?
Just to play devils advocate.

The cowboys were top 3 in point differential, 1st in takeaways, and first in pressures. Also had one of the top offenses in the league.

Most teams that have all of the above, are considered SB contenders.

Regular season has nothing to do with the playoffs.

Really? All pass with only 1 legit WR and no running attack. Right? You forgot to mention that.

Did you consider yourself a 'true fan' when you were hating on Romo every day? I'm just trying to narrow down when that became an actual thing.
Romo was praised when he did well. He also got admonished for going Hollywood and wasting his prime years. So what's the problem?
