I'm frustrated that we don't know anything about the no trade clause.

I believe we had to resign him, not like there is alot out there that we could get at QB. I want to be able to trade him if he chokes once again, though.

We absolutely need to be able to trade him.

I'll never forgive Trey Lance for this.
Are you on the boat out of Dallas, yet?

Ridiculous timing. If their plan was to sign him all along why wait? Could have had him cheaper before free agency began and actually done something in free agency. Our FO is poison.
Dak was never taking less. He was always going to be the last quarterback to sign. France wanted to break the bank. Dak would have actually made more money if he waited to the offseason. CeeDee, Dak, and Parsons want top dollar. In a few years their contracts will be nothing compared to the next extensions.

That’s the thing you don’t understand. They have no chance without Dak !
The same guy who has had numerous horrific performances in big moments, one of which motivated you to write your now infamous "I quit" post, is somehow now our only hope and if we let him go we are destined for the ash heap of History?

You're right, I don't understand that, and I never will because it's an illogical and intellectually void argument

JJ is like a musician with the most expensive gear in the world but no chops.

some may have been wrong about him being re signed

But on the more important details (his ceiling performance wise) they are just as right now as they were all summer.

Which is why I find it odd that you're more happy about the "haters" eating it, while as this great fan you profess to be, I would think your greater concern would be the long term health and success of the team

But, hey, don't let me distract you whilst you're hoisting yourself up on a very high horse.....
Awe what good speech. You mad bro? I have never thought Dak to be the reason we don’t advance just part of the reason

I don’t put blame on 1 single aspect of the team ( with the exception of the GM)

I would have been ok if he walked but quite frankly there’s a portion of this fanbase I don’t care for and made this place miserable all off season and for that I’m glad their upset if your one of them . Sorry not sorry

Jerry Jones you are a a fool if you did not put in an escape clause . Because once a mediocre QB , always a mediocre QB.
Well Jerry Jones already is known to be a Fool. I mean, why didn't he go all in on the Draft and free agency and then resign dak to a team that isn't as good as the one last year? Dak ain't no spring chicken anymore.

Those two items aren't mutually exclusive. Just because the money is available doesn't mean that's it's an end to itself.

Though I would not argue with anyone who says Dak only plays for the money, if for no other reason than I can't get inside the man's head. Whether he does or does not play just for the money is only known for certain to Dak himself...
When you sign your second contract short on years to get a second helping, it's disingenuous to then say you don't play for money and sign for the largest contract ever aav. While not technically mutually exclusive it comes off as very fake.
