Jerry was not man enough, LOL. But most were indifferent to this, in any case this is not going to change the cultre or outloookfor the team. So continue.

I was hopeful they wouldn't extend him, but I knew they would. What's done is done. At least the drama is over, I guess.

Well, when you are RUNNER-UP MVP in the most popular player category, how can you NOT be the highest paid player in history? We aren't talking about rings or even beating great teams or even average teams, we're talking about popularity, man!!

Well at least the drama is over as regards this
but being Jethro more will come

I was hoping the delay just might be that the relevancy player would be gone but it is what it is

I know what you were referring to...Yes because we hit SO many home runs?

You have that much faith in our draft prowess? How cute!
Don’t understand the cute comment. Buy my point is Boys will have to continue to draft well with CD, Dak and upcoming Parsons contract.

So ridiculous.

Weren't you one of the ones who said you would be done with the team if they gave Dak a new contract extension?
Can you show me that post or stop LYING and making up stories about others ?

Im a fan of the Cowboys
Youre a Dak jock slurper

Big difference

BTW, “arent you the one” who said Dak should give the Cowboys a discount LOL

The same guy who has had numerous horrific performances in big moments, one of which motivated you to write your now infamous "I quit" post, is somehow now our only hope and if we let him go we are destined for the ash heap of History?

You're right, I don't understand that, and I never will because it's an illogical and intellectually void argument
Don’t worry, it will be ok.

Awe what good speech. You mad bro? I have never thought Dak to be the reason we don’t advance just part of the reason

I don’t put blame on 1 single aspect of the team ( with the exception of the GM)

I would have been ok if he walked but quite frankly there’s a portion of this fanbase I don’t care for and made this place miserable all off season and for that I’m glad their upset if your one of them . Sorry not sorry
Again, you're more upset about the fans who questioned this team's lack of success, than the players who deliver it. That tells me all I need to know. Thank you for your candor

I don't like this. For my sake and Dak's he needed to move on. Also, if Jerry was going to sign him why undermine the whole off-season?? No running backs added. No players of impact.

Pathetic
I don't know what you mean undermine you know Jerry wasn't gonna spend any of this extra money anyway but this technically is the offseason all the way up till game one which by the way every single player was under contract regardless of these new deals they were all under contract for 2024 so where is the undermining coming from did some of y'all really are delusional you're clueless you made-up this little world of your own on how you think Jerry and the Dallas Cowboys which is a $10 billion franchise he owns several successful billion dollar franchises he knows how to run business somehow you think because they didn't do this sooner on your timetable than it undermined the team?

That doesn't change the fact we have a lame duck coaching staff I mean nothing has changed all these players were coming to play game one this is just new deals for the future but this did not undermine this offseason because they were all under contract do you not understand that you're trying to make this a thing that it never really was and most of us all said calm down because these deals were gonna get done and Micah Parsons will be a Dallas cowboy so all the drama in the news if you wanted to get involved with the posturing and how negotiating is being done that's fine but that's on you that's not on Jerry that's not on the ownership you could be upset on how they handled it but we do know this Jerry would not have used this extra money because he didn't do it during Prescott's rookie year he didn't do it while he had all these other players on their rookie deals he wasn't gonna go be an all in super aggressive & a bunch of free agents no matter what so why is this somehow affected the offseason it didn't at all that's in your mind..

You will be laughing at the end of the season like the last 3 when Dak sucks again and again and again and again and will disappear for a month or two then come out with more excuses and blame for everyone except Dakchoka. You and your ilk deserve this it’s a shame real Cowboys fans have to suffer through more years of Dak. Sad day in Dallas history
He'll post that animated rat gif saying that the bandwagon fans are jumping ship again ;)

Like it or not, this team drafts, develops and resigns their own in house fa’s. They will continue to add draft picks and not be fa spenders
How long have the Cowboys used this strategy. I am guessing since the Hardy fiasco in 2015?

The deals for Dal and Lamb can be restructured to open cap space. This team can re-sign Bland, Parsons, and Smith in the future. They are now clearly operating in a four year window and any rebuild will have to wait until Dak and Lamb can be moved on from.

At least now the team has a plan and a direction. They weren't getting a QB in the 2025 draft that could replace Dak and they would have probably had to pay him even more if they waited for next offseason to do this.
What's the plan - Dak is limited - we see what happens to him against the better Ds.

What happened against GB AT HOME - yes it was a team loss but man Dak sure did have a big part of that.

During the season Dak plays loose and is very good but once the play-offs start and goes against a good D - he tightens up - you can see it.
