I know, Jerry is terrified of having to look for and draft a QB. Its only about relevancy with him, but that may not last either.
I would not totally agree with Jones being afraid. I do believe Jones thinks he is a top talent evaluator. And I also believed he evaluated his current franchise quarterback as being a franchise quarterback within two months of his future franchise quarterback's rookie season. And I do not believe his opinion has never wavered remotely close to ever changing--not even after the Green Bay wildcard debacle.

The drama never ends haha
right then they go just from there's no way lamb is going to get back Jerry can't afford it then he gets signed goes right back to Prescott Deal and now did you see online all the triggered folks on bleachers report and Facebook saying now there's no way Parsons is going to make it they're already switching gears to Parsons. The eagles' fans starting to show those pictures with Parsons wearing eagle green again...

When will they learn there isn't 1 instance in the history of the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones ownership that he did not resign his rookie superstar to a new deal and I mean superstars he has never let a superstar walk ,I'm not talking about an average player a good player a fan favorite ,I'm talking a bona fide superstar Jerry Jones has never let one of those walk on their rookie deal..NOT ONE

I wasn't sure about Prescott new deal, I'm pretty sure he was going to be back, but this one is his 3rd contract a record-breaking contract and I wasn't sure if Jerry was going to pay that this time around but the one thing I do know you can't bring up one player in the history of the Dallas Cowboys that Jerry did not pay on their rookie deals... He's paid every single superstar that was drafted here that was on a rookie deal he's paid them their next deal...

You know in a way it makes sense if you look at it like Jethro does:
He gave Ginger ten years and now he will give Dak Ten Years

I don't like this. For my sake and Dak's he needed to move on. Also, if Jerry was going to sign him why undermine the whole off-season?? No running backs added. No players of impact.

Pathetic

Sorry buddy, but he’s no mediocre QB. It’s the team not him.
Lol, keep saying that to yourself . Dak has proven he is not capable of winning against good defenses. Year, after year, after year.

Been a Cowboy fan since 1978 and I'm always excited about opening week. It's just a great feeling I always look forward to. So blessed.

Lost you swagger huh?
When has a team won a Superbowl with an average/good QB being paid as an elite quarterback? Never springs to mind. People reference Stafford but he's better than Prescott for a start and he wasn't being paid like Prescott. This model does not work. Computer says no. Unless the Cowboys are able to draft a generational defense with an amazing offensive line then...prepare yourself for further disappointment my good man.

Brady's first game as an analyst is a Cowboy game with the highest paid QB in history....his last game as a player was a playoff loss to Dallas and the worse playoff QB in history.
:muttley:
Please do not post that or something similar within the game threads! :lmao2:

No. Seriously. Do not post that or something similar within the game threads.

1000% ....he has only done what practically every one of us would have done. Anyone saying differently is lying.
So what was it when he said he didn't play for money or he was only doing it for the brotherhood? Lying?
