stop watching.Respectfully understood. Many feel like you. Dak is not going anywhere. I'm sure you understand this. So what are you going to do?
You've been explained what kind of personnel and formation this Offense was running, which was explained to not carry much of any talent. Actually no top receiver talent compared to all other top Offenses in the league. Yet you're still wanting for miracles to happen? Get real dude. All of the current top QBs have at least 1 top receiver and/or a TE. Dak has none. At least Romo had Witten every game for 10 straight seasons. Dak has nothing, yet you want him to turn water into wine? Get real. Go back to playing your Madden games.Mahomes would make our recievers look better than Dak. Dak is a receiver killer. Franchise QBs make the players around them better Dak does not.
Right now I would take the ham sandwichHow many other teams would want our WRs, none since they were cut from other teams and not even good teams or traded to us for a ham sandwich.
It's the scheme....Dak Prescott wasn't the problem against the Houston Texans
Some day, historians are going to look at the Week 5 loss that the Dallas Cowboys sustained against the Houston Texans and think that Dak Prescott played a bad game. The evidence is there. The Cowboys scored only 16 points. Prescott threw two interceptions and gained only 208 yards through the air. His quarterback rating was 66.4. Based on his poor play in the four weeks prior, it wouldn't be a stretch to just tack one extra bad game onto his ledger. And that is a shame, because for once, Prescott was not remotely the problem against the Texans.

Those two interceptions Prescott threw? Both tipped... by his own receivers. Granted, they weren't perfect throws, but most throws aren't. It is reasonable for a quarterback to expect his receivers to be able to, you know, stretch. Prescott didn't throw those balls 10 yards over their heads. He missed slightly. But when you miss at all with this group of Cowboys receivers, you miss entirely.
Speaking of missing, Prescott made the Texans do quite a bit of that. He was pressured relentlessly in this game, but he was sacked only twice. He escaped perhaps half a dozen sacks based on nothing more than body control and athleticism.

Agreed. The scheme(s) Linehan runs are hurting Dak and this talentless receiving crew and struggling Oline. Linehan is intent on running the deep/late developing Zampese offense of the 90s. Garrett has to be behind this. It's the scheme....
While people continue to pile on the players in Dak or the WRs. I choose to question why the routes takexso long to develop. Why we don't run more slants, skinny posts, etc. Linehan is trash.
Carrot demonstrated on 4th and 1 with the game on the line in overtime, that he REFUSED to give this O / team a chance to win. As I have said before, he shackles and puts chains on this O, and then suffocates them to finish them off. And his play calling is horrendous as well.
5 LOSSES in a row to go and then Jerry is forced to get rid of Carrot. I volunteer to be the first to open the door and leave a permanent and huge footprint on Carrot's A S S on the way out.
Doug Pederson stood up on the podium and took OWNERSHIP for the Eagles loss yesterday. I have NEVER heard Carrot stand up and take accountability to everyone for his failures. He throws everyone under the bus EXCEPT himself.
Couldn't agree more and tat's what is so dang frustrating!!! Folks can call out the play calling and what Dak can't and hasn't done, but I've watched enough football in my life to know OTHER NFL receivers catch all kinds of crazy passes that these receivers are missing on! Yeah, Dak may not be the most accurate passer, but I've seen too many other teams' receivers catch way worse passes than what Dak is throwing. If it ain't a perfect pass for these cowboy wideouts, they can't catch it.....and where in the hell is the open throws. Every cowboy receiver usually has a defender hanging right off of him, while I see other receivers wide the hell open....what's up with that??I see other WRs on every other team catch those same balls every Sun and yes even on Sat in college and in HS on Friday nights. Those are routine catches, everywhere but here, where if it ain't between the numbers it ain't catchable.
This ugly.... Coaching Malpractice? This quote was even before this past game.
He wasn't the problem, meaning we can't blame him for the loss but he is a big reason we couldn't get more than 200 yards. Now I would say that we see it as a Dak issue when he misses a few throws (it happens) but most of the time he runs the plays that are called. I'm sure he wants to throw the ball more than 10 yards each time.Dak Prescott wasn't the problem against the Houston Texans

Yep, watching the game Texans receivers consistently had 2+ steps on our defenders. Dak isn't the most accurate and we don't have great WRs, but fer cryin' out loud scheme these guys and help get some space.Couldn't agree more and tat's what is so dang frustrating!!! 500yds=great defense208 yards with over time. 16 points. dakhard.
Bobby called it right, ok you say "Dak Sucks" now what? so you are saying that if there was a QB out there worth getting that things will work out for our offense????And this is distilled down by the simpletons as.......wait for it ....
Dak Sucks.
yup...and normally I would defend the cabin boy, but no longer. He had a chance to take a risk on 4th down, and in true JG fashion, handed the game to the Texans. You just cannot punt the ball away like that in OT on the opponets home field. MO is on the home teams side CLEARLY in that sitch. Look at the Browns yesterday. History has shown that more times than not, under these new OT rules, the team that gets the ball last...wins. This is on the HC. The D had been playing huge all game long...and to put that burden on them like that at the end,its sick. It was a no win shot in the dark. In that situation, you go for the jugular. You do not punt...Garrett is responsible for at very least that loss last night.Carrot demonstrated on 4th and 1 with the game on the line in overtime, that he REFUSED to give this O / team a chance to win. NOT-- it doesn't matter who is back there because the coach will run basic crap and not put together schemes that fit your QB and WR's for that matter.
