We are 6-4. Our defense isn't good enough to carry this team, like San Fran's. And our running game isn't carrying this team this year. So the truth is it doesn't matter how much you dislike Dak, he isn't holding us back. In fact, if he averages 378 yards per game in the next six games he'll set a new record for passing yards in a season.Haters I would say no but doubters big time as all these wonderful passing stats this year have come against the below-ranked pass defenses and the only team with a winning record we have beaten is the Eagles which started with the best scenario for us.
We have only played one top 10 passing D (Saints - 10th).
Then we have played: 14th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th (x2), 26th,27th.
Now also factor the injury-riddled teams we have played this year including the refs who are pushing us after many years positively well I would be very conservative before rejoicing about the above.
Now I hear a lot of talk that we are now a passing team and Zeke is done ect ect ect . Let's all pause and wish us GL with that theory when it comes time to face real defenses as I fear when Dak doesn't have 10 seconds in the pocket and our WR are facing DB who leave very small windows things here might change in a jiffy.
Now call me hater but not recognizing the above reality is football homer ball and troll selling.
P.S. No Great offline ( Not even the Dallas wall) can stop a Great Defense.....
Bottom line is you're discrediting a QB that is going to surpass 5,000 yards this year. Any QB who passing for over 5,000 yards in a season is capable of winning a Superbowl. I give you Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees as proof to that statement. So you actually have nothing to doubt Dak over.
