Regarding Dez injury.

"I don't really pay attention to who I'm throwing to," said Prescott, who has connected with Bryant 11 times for 150 yards and a touchdown this season. "I just go through my reads, whoever's open gets the ball. So I mean hope gets well, is well really, really soon, but it doesn't really affect this offense."

Dak will still get it done this weekend.

Holy crap, this dude doesn't give a you-know-what!! Dude shows moxie even in the press room! Speaks like a grizzled, 10 year vet.

The whole world brushes off his shoulders. His turbulent life experiences certainly play a part in his incredibly stable demeanor.

So cool, calm. I'm swooning

Love Dak, between Butler and Twill trying to get open without the respect Dez brings, Dak will prolly get about 7 completions between the 2

Wow. This dude is looking like a once-in-a-lifetime pick. His demeanor is absolutely amazing. But Dez is a Top 10 player at his position. Maybe the offense doesn't use him as such but he is a weapon. He should show him that respect and I didn't see the respect in the quote. He's got to learn to compliment his teammates or he could run the risk of not being viewed as a team guy.

Hate to disagree, but Dez is not a top 10 WR. Top 20 maybe, but he's nowhere near 10.....

I'll believe it when I see it. Right now, I'm expecting a 10-14pt loss vs SF.

Jimmie Ward is out, Cole is now showing an adeptness at being able to go deep, and Butler beat his man last week too, only a blatant PI broke up that call.

Neither plays involved our warrior Dez. Ward is SF best DB, so here's to more of those deep balls to players other than Dez (if he's out).

Oh yeah, and we have Zeke, who we have yet to implement into the passing game. I would hope that Linehan has been gameplanning the heck out of screens and flat routes to Zeke, esp with Dez out. This 9er game should still be a win, whether or not Dez plays. If it isn't, this season is a loss regardless of Dez.

It's the schedule after this week that gets dicey and puts more of an impetus on having our elite WR in the game.

I thinn its more or less can TWill and Butler perform without Dez on the other side.

TWill, every season, has his hot and cold games. He's capable of showing up on any given day and taking it to the house (after a nice body catch :) )

He needs to step up and maybe he doesn't, but I have faith in Butler, with him knowing his guy (Dak) will be counting on him. If he fails, then we can debate that afterwards, but he had a sure TD last week if not for a PI.

Beas and Witten will both be factors, and I'm looking for Swaim to step up and contribute on a few plays. Mainly, this will need to be a statement game from Zeke, and I think he makes it such.

Williams is talented enough to make plays. He's just wildly inconsistent. He needs to hone in and step up his focus several notches. He can't go invisible as he did last season. SF will be missing their best CB so the playing field should be somewhat even.

Beasley will have a big game but either Williams or Butler, or even both, need to be factors on the outside. The coaching staff needs to do their job and help these guys get going with the gameplan.
