Hahaha. Now I've officially heard it all.
Great WRs don't get shut down and disappear in games. Ask Michael Irvin.....

He's the one who gets openDak's favorite target
Yeah. I like the confidence. But I don't see this offense taking this injury in stride.
Don't be hating just cause my threads getting lots of likesIt's actually a stupid quote. He doesn't pay attention to who he's throwing to. Maybe that's why he's overthrown Cole Beasley so many times this year or why Bryant was invisible in the opener. You can not treat him like every other receiver. He's open when he's not open. You have to know that as the quarterback and you have to feed your best weapon.
Saying it won't affect the offense is just ridiculous. It'll affect the offense because it'll affect the way defenses defend you.
I agree with you.Hate to disagree, but Dez is not a top 10 WR. Top 20 maybe, but he's nowhere near 10.....
OK. First, l like most of your posts. Come on. Prescott is the only real hope this club has. Romo is finished...and after that there is nothing. It is best to support what the Club has. Prescott is the road ahead. Tony is the past. Accept it and look forward. People change...situations evolve. Romo is history. Players come and go...the Star is forevere. It's actually a stupid quote. I think he is emphasizing team over individuals and saying that the offense is going to go out there and compete with or without Dez and he's going to go out there and execute the game plan and go through his reads and make the correct decision based on who is open. He's being naive if he doesn't think Dez being on the field has an affect on the coverage he must read.
But, his statement about who gets the ball is exactly what Romo has been saying for years. Prescott not forcing the ball to someone is a very good thing.
Tell you what. Bryant was never more than a redzone jump ball specialist. He was elite in that speciality. He was never a complete reciever like Irvin ...Rice or Drew Pearson. I always liked him...but he has serious limitations. Get him the ball in the redzone, and because he is big and powerfull, he win score every time even in double or trible coverage. Thats is his strong suit. He is no route runner and doesn't need to be. Bryant has great value and just needs to be used in the right way.I agree with you.
He used to be top 3....then got paid and we haven't seen anything like that guy since.
I think he still can be that guy but he has to show us.

The Niner's aren't doing that on offense with Gabbert. Will Hyde tear it up for 100+ yards? Probably, but that's not getting that team 30+points on the board. This will be a close, low scoring game with probably a lot of turnovers and penalties. That's my prediction. If any team is going to start running away with it it will be Dallas.I'll believe it when I see it. Right now, I'm expecting a 10-14pt loss vs SF.
that's how i took it.I think he is emphasizing team over individuals and saying that the offense is going to go out there and compete with or without Dez and he's going to go out there and execute the game plan and go through his reads and make the correct decision based on who is open.
Normally you expect to see adversity reveal the truth, but It's funny to watch how a little success reveals true colors around here.
Stud? Even average to mediocre is tough.Late 4th rounder playing THIS well. Still can't believe it. Some teams go 20 years trying to find a stud QB.
Bryant has always been a redzone jump ball specialist. That is his strength. He has never been a route runner or a gamebreaker. The coaches know this and use him accordingly. Its only Jerry that promotes the fantasy that Bryant is anything more. Heck, it sells jerseys and other crap. Dez is business...not football.Hate to disagree, but Dez is not a top 10 WR. Top 20 maybe, but he's nowhere near 10.....

If he is the real deal, it really loosens things up for the rest of the franchise, much like it did for Seattle for a few years.
