Guess what that is the culture in todays NFL. The drops he see the most contested passes but he is supposed to bring in 100% of those balls. Still sore about that TD broken up by the Giants in the endzone huh?
It's not the culture with every player. I thought Dez was above the buddy buddy stuff and I was wrong. You seem to think I'm one of the Dez haters. I just want him to go back to how he was, Intense and catalytic.

Dak could not be any more different than Dez. I'll bet he's already sick of him.

Wow. This dude is looking like a once-in-a-lifetime pick. His demeanor is absolutely amazing. But Dez is a Top 10 player at his position. Maybe the offense doesn't use him as such but he is a weapon. He should show him that respect and I didn't see the respect in the quote. He's got to learn to compliment his teammates or he could run the risk of not being viewed as a team guy.
Respect?

You mean like the respect Dez showed the team by blowing off his scheduled MRI because he had better things to do?

At least Garrett had the balls to fine him, I will give Garrett props on that one.

You don't think he has done that? He sees 88...he is saying what needs to be said for the benefit of the rest of the offense.

Exactly! He's been told what a fragile mentality this team has without Romo and Dez and he's making sure that they know that they can still do it without Dez. I don't think it was a dig at Dez.

It's actually a stupid quote. He doesn't pay attention to who he's throwing to. Maybe that's why he's overthrown Cole Beasley so many times this year or why Bryant was invisible in the opener. You can not treat him like every other receiver. He's open when he's not open. You have to know that as the quarterback and you have to feed your best weapon. Just like you have to know if your WR is a midget. Whether he has track speed. To just treat them all the same is foolish. I've never heard a QB say that.

Saying it won't affect the offense is just ridiculous. It'll affect the offense because it'll affect the way defenses defend you.

I have to agree, his answer was a bit obtuse. But after hearing that Dez blew off an MRI and has been late to team meetings, his answer was also strangely gratifying too. LOL.

Dak is turning me into a "pompom and sunshine" fan. I swear I was as cynical as @Risen Star before we landed this dude.

It's weird being this positive about a franchise that has done nothing but fail (more or less) for all of my adult life.

That is hysterical :flagwave:

Bryant has always been a redzone jump ball specialist. That is his strength. He has never been a route runner or a gamebreaker. The coaches know this and use him accordingly. Its only Jerry that promotes the fantasy that Bryant is anything more. Heck, it sells jerseys and other crap. Dez is business...not football.

Dude, we just gave the guy $14 million per year and $45 million in guaranteed money. He should be a route-running, red zone jumping, game-breaking WR on a consistent basis. Instead, he is a late to meetings, MRI-missing, injury-prone WR with an extremely limited route tree. As an athlete, there are few as dominant. As an actual football player? Way too easy to make him disappear.

As with most, I'm getting tired of Dez's antics. I loved him since they picked him, but lately I wouldn't even care if we found his replacement ASAP.

Honestly i like everything the OP posted and what Dak said

BUT

Did anyone expect him to say no way we can win now without Dez! sky is falling ! what do we do now?

Leaders inspire confidence in the face of adversity. They make you feel like everything is always gonna be alright no matter what. I personally have felt that way all year and I Don't even work there ! lol

That is exactly what he is doing and that says a lot about him and his character ! I DON'T see a lot of deer in the headlight moments coming in this man's career he has MOXY and you cannot teach that.

We have a winner folks and I for one am excited ! I think we will see a Inspired performance this week and after the W the Analysts are gonna take the Dak Mania to a whole other level especially if Dez doesn't play. Dallas is always in the spotlight and Dak is handling everything the right way like a true professional and LEADER.

Careful. The Bears were not a trap, but this very well could be. They got mollywhopped in their last two outings...but against really good teams. I'm not as confident for this one as I was against the Bears.
Mollywhopped!! I like that one. Agreed, lt may not be so easy. Kelly's team just doesn't look that good to me. They will have something to prove.

Carlos Hyde may run for 200 against this defense. He had 67 yards in the fourth quarter against Seattle. We may be able to win this game because I think Elliot can do the same and we have a better QB, but Hyde is going to make this run defense looked like a certain kind of cheese with holes in it.

I don't get why people think San Francisco is a pushover team. They just got beat by two of the top 5 best teams in the league in the Seahawks and Panthers. They will play us tough.
