Dak should be given two more seasons after this one to win

If Rush would have threw more INTs and played more reckless would that have made ya'll happier?

Rush had 3 turnovers in 5 games. Dak had 3 turnovers in the first half Thursday.

Or address the offensive scoring, 1st downs, points per drive they had with Rush...again regardless of your personal feelings about Dak he is the better QB and its has been shown since he returned..you can either admit it or you cant. BTW you should really look into why Rush threw INT's in philly...its because he had to actually push the ball since our defense couldn't completely shut them down..Rush is who he is did great in those games as a backup..you can either admit the truth or you can not...it wont change because you dont like it.

Rush is who he is.

Dak is who he is.

Both need replaced.

The Cowboys failure to do much of anything in the postseason for over a quarter century isn't the fault of Dak, Romo, or any other QB during that time.

There have been two constants.

usa_today_16649051.0.jpg

The anti Dak stuff on this Forum represents peak stupidity. Did the Dolphins discuss dumping Marino because he didn't win? Was Elway about to be kicked to the curb just before the Broncos figured out defense and a running game helps win? The Dakaholics here are just so stupid.

I am hoping we see the Dak we saw in Philly, 3 road games will be very difficult no matter what NFL QB is playing.

Agreed that it is difficult, but the team has done that to themselves by blowing the Packers and Jaguars games. So, if we are going to reach where we want to reach, then we will have to play like we did against Minnesota and Philly. I think that this team can do that, but it will be difficult.

Prove it.

I want to see it so I know who not to take seriously as Cowboys fans.
Hell, I already know who not to take seriously, so I don't care if you take me seriously or not. I'm not spending time searching through old threads, but I know with absolute certainty that I've seen posts (not a lot) stating something to the effect of, "I don't want a mediocre QB leading this team. If that means they don't get to the SB, so be it."

Believe, don't believe me, I don't care. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers posts like that.

Yes we have seen them, they used to be hidden in "Tank the season to draft Dak's replacement" literally saying would rather lose than win with Dak.

As soon as the cap hit is reasonable, let him go. (Of course, that depends on the cap, wasn't next year supposed to be way up?
Dak's dead cap is huge until like 2026, based on the current cap. The bigger the total cap, the less his dead cap will hurt the team.)

He's had long enough.

And I speak that as a Dak supporter, in general, he's far better than some of the past quarterbacks we've had, like Quincy Carter, et al.

But I don't want my Cowboys to just be good, or win 12 games in a season, or win the occasional playoff game. I want SUPER BOWL WINS.

Tired of the mediocre to pretty good seasons in Dak's tenure. Not good enough to keep him around....

If you upgrade.. thats the thing, you could draft one and hit or ya miss and that cycle, regardless of how easy the Madden folks here make it sound is longer than hitting the "skip ahead to next season" button and getting another one. if the FO decides to go all out on a defense and brings in top ranked DT's and such and goes cheaper at QB I'm all for it if we cant win with this team...but just swapping Dak with a "Top Rated Rookie" as we give up 250 yards rushing every playoff game will not bring the change your looking for.

Show me anybody that says they want Dallas to lose.

You can't do it.

It's easy to find posters gloating that Dak is here for the long haul as some kind of weird flex anytime someone brings up his inconsistency's.

We know which side you're on when it comes to Dak or Dallas.
show me anybody that says they take dak over dallas.

you can't do it.

its easy to find posters hating on dak here for the long haul as some kind of weird flex anytime someone brings up anything positive about him...really weird.

Can we stop with this QBs win by themselves nonsense? Derek Carr has had nothing but one coaching and OC change after another, and usually cursed with a bad defense. It's a team sport. Fans simplify it to just the QB for their own convenience. It's easy.
Even Tom Brady hasn't won by himself. It's no coincidence that he had coaching continuity, and a top 10 defense, for years at New England.
Totally agree Jake. More times than not, winning depends on the "TEAM" doing a "good" job rather than one person doing a fantastic job.
It's not a QB sport, it's a team sport.
That doesn't excuse any individual players from the responsibility of performing their job to the best of their ability, it just means some fans always concentrate too much on just the QB for the sake of convenience like you said.
