Dak should be given two more seasons after this one to win

Technically Dak only count for 6 full seasons because of the broken ankle. With that said Dak has the same amount of playoff success in 6 seasons as Drew Brees.... one playoff win in that time. Hell, it took Matt Stafford until his 11th, 12th season to get his first playoff win and he's a first round drafted quarterback.

With that said, I would give Dak one more season on this roster. Dak has to lead us deeper into the playoffs to get more time in Dallas IMO.

However, I would like to see Dak in an offense WITHOUT Kellen Moore running it. Dak has played well despite being handicapped by the dumbest offensive coordinator in all of football.

I like you better after your middle paragraph. You do value postseason success more than regular season success.

Kellen has been the offensive coordinator of these top offenses in recent seasons. Give the guy some credit-he is obviously not as bad as you portray him. Not like Dak goes out there and starts calling all the shots and succeeds despite Kellen’s input.

Drew only played 1 game his initial season, so you can remove that season too. :) He joined New Orleans and they promptly went to the NFCCG. Detroit is hopefully a franchise that this team never wants to call a standard threshold (at least for that time period). Lots of coaching restarts and flux in the front office-recipe for disaster.

I really like Dan Campbell’s philosophy in building on the lines of scrimmage and making the team understand it’s about gutting it out every day. I feel they will give Green Bay a really tough game and may win it. The unfortunate thing is the way the league scheduled it though. If Seattle wins their game, then the Lions are eliminated from playoff contention before the game begins.

A preseason prediction of what their record would be is a lie now? lol You're reaching now.

I could say "you think Dak is top 10" and then claim you're a liar for thinking that because I don't agree with it.

Come on.
No the lie comes you are pretending like you didn't say it. You predict all of these "wrong" things but never take accountability. You just spew your tired *** rhetoric over and over again. To the point i'm shocked you aren't bored by it.

as opposed to a fan who is constantly ripping this team and the QB? lol That is what you do, you come here day in and day out with nothing but slams on Dak. Cowboys win you still go after Dak they lose and it was all on him? Hell you will say when they win they won as a team but any loss and that is all on Dak. Again you are a joke.
If I'm a joke then stop chiming in every time you see me post.

Ignore me.

When did I say I never said it?

I said it. I stand by it. I created the thread predicting each game for crying out loud.

A preseason prediction that was wrong is not a lie unless you believe Dak is top 10 is also a lie simply because it's your opinion.

You're reaching.

Mostly everyone thinks fondly of Romo and he was a good QB, but at the time people were very angry when Jerry gave him that last big (at the time) contract after not winning anything. Now people want to do the same with Dak.

I wasn't but I think people were more upset by it because of the back injuries. That's how I remember it but i'm not entirely sure.

Yeah I'm saying don't extend him unless he proves himself. QBs don't usually stay with their original team into their mid 30s without winning anything, but that still gives him 3 chances including this postseason to do something.

If they extend him I am done as a Cowboy fan.
Enough already with this clown show.

Yep. He's practically been paid for the next two years anyway. So it might as well be him. Does anyone have anybody else in mind?

That's the funny thing. I hear all this about "Dak needs to go", or "We will never win anything with him". However, I hardly ever hear a replacement. And I hear people on here say "Oh, well, we will just draft one". That's not a sure fire thing. Yes, we will eventually have to draft a replacement, but I think there are a lot of teams that would like to have Dak over their current young QBs. I think the Jets would see, for example, Dak as a night and day upgrade over Zach Wilson, was the number 2 pick in 2021. I think the Panthers, who've been through the QB switches lately, would love to have Dak. Ask the Colts what they'd think of Dak was offered to them in a trade. Houston would do backflips if they could have Dak. I could go on. The point is, Dak is a better QB than I think a lot on here give him credit, and I think a lot of fans on here do not understand just how hard it is to get a good QB, including in the draft. Oh, and by the way, I'll add Mac Jones into the discussion. He's turning into a bit of an egomaniac, and he's been putrid for the Patriots. I think Belichick would love to have Dak. I think we can win with Dak. However, I can ot share a direct replacement that would be capable of succeeding Dak right now.

Here's the simple truth with Dak moving forward. He is going to have to THROW THE FOOTBALL to win in the playoffs. Our run game opens that up more than any team in the playoffs, period. Brady/Fournette, Mahomes/Pacheco, Allen/ Singletary, Burrow/Mixon, Rogers/Jones, etc......QB's and coaches are not saying " let those RB's of ours get us to where we want to be", that's laughable! If you believe Dak can take us through the playoffs throwing the ball, your more than welcome to believe that. One more thing, with our DB's being below average Dak is definitely going to have to throw!! STOP LISTENING TO THE TALKING HEADS THAT POLLARD AND ZEKE ARE THE KEY TO OUR TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.
