40 wins 24 loses
See who has a better record since entering the league
Hint
There is only one
Yep.
That's why the Cowboys rolled over the competition in 2019.
Dak was killing opposing defenses when the games mattered, wasn't he?
Oh, I'm sorry; it was Dak who was shut down in games that mattered.
It was the Cowboys who couldn't score points or keep drives alive.
It was Dak who was overthrowing those receivers.

Let's look at this a minute:
Does 8-8 make a team or their quarterback special?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against an Eagles team that was playing 2nd and 3rd Stringers? This was the game that defined Dak Prescott as to whether or not he could carry the team when they needed him.
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Bills?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Saints?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Bears?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Jets?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Patriots?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Vikings?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against any team in contention for a playoff spot?
Stats don't win Super Bowls. Players who show up when their team needs them win Super Bowls.
Dak isn't a leader. Leaders show up when the game- or the season, for that matter- is on the line.
When the Cowboys couldn't beat the Jets or the Eagles to get into the playoffs, it spoke volumes. When Dak couldn't lead the team when they needed him the most and get past even the weaker teams, it spoke volumes.
Actions speak louder than words. Dak threw the ball into the ground on 4th down.
He doesn't show up when the Cowboys need him to lead.
He simply is along for the ride when they beat up the weak teams.
Shut the heck up!!! You're not even a fan!

SINCE Covid 19 has been going on and making it less sports to watch,i think a LOT of people should go back and watch this past season's game on youtube. like REALLY watch the games and see where we failed at repeatedly..its not rocket science to figure out where the failures were exactly instead of arguing about it. smh

The problem with all of this is that there are 21 other positions on the field. Yes, QB is the most important position but Troy went 1-15 his rookie year. So putting the team record as proof of the QBs ability in either direction isn't how to evaluate any player.

and yet within 2 years that deal will be around avg. Players know this as well. He is asking the market value and seems the only holdup is 4 or 5 years if we go by what is getting reported.
As soon as mahomes gets his deal the market will be at or around 40 a year. Does Dak deserve that. No, he is not a SB winning QB. He will get 35 a year. But the next starting QB up for a contract after mahomes will ask for 40 because it is the market. Not sure who is up next, maybe watson. Or jackson.

Mahomes getting 40 will set the market he would not be getting market value he would be establishing the market. Chances are Dak will get around 35 mill, Watson and Jackson will likely want more than that do they deserve it? Unlike some I don't begrudge Dak, he never complained being one of the lowest paid QB and frankly has not made many statements during these contract talks, instead relying on his agent to do his job.

Romo went 8-8 3 seasons in a row and got paid top dollar. It's the business of the NFL.

Why are wins/losses attributed to one player when we fans generally consider football to be the greatest “team” sport?
why? you ask why? why? really why...because it fits the agenda I am trying to drive, because nothing else can help me make a stupid case...come on man

The difference is that Romo was always out there fighting. He never just "laid an egg" when the team needed him. He made some stupid throws and some costly interceptions, but he was still fighting.
Dak just goes along with the team.
Romo never laid an egg..like against Detroit, throwing 3 interception in a game we were leading by 3 scores in the second half

Lol. He was playing as good as QB that are making over 30 and was making more in endorsements. Wasnt one year less than a million. It’s time to pay him. Just give him the 4 years and 35 a year. Pay him a few million more than the last QB got for guaranteed money. And cut him a signing bonus check for 20 million or so. Let’s play some football...

Your right stats do not win SB. Romo has a ton of them and his playoff success is around the same as Dak. Cowboys have the pieces to win and it falls to the staff to take all the parts and put them together to play as a team, especially in critical moments of the games. I don't remove any blame on Dak nor do I remove blame on any other player who failed to execute or made mistakes that cost the team.
Marino sucked and Dilfer was a better QB. Marino never won a superbowl and Dilfer did....

Dak's play at LB was terrible last year
Dak's play in the Secondary was terrible last year
Dak's play as an interior defensive lineman was terrible last year

I can say dumb stuff too. This is fun
don't forget his play on special teams and kicking was horrible. down right horrible.

perhaps we should have kept garrett given dak's incompetence.....

That's what I don't get here. It's literally a place for opinions. And debate. So if you disagree.....just go to insults first instead of showing why YOU think HE is wrong?

o_O
I don't disagree. a place for opinions and debates...is it also a place for stupidity and idiocy?
