I normally think that Fish is pretty astute....but his idea that Dak becoming a "Bus driver" and quit "Slinging it around" to avoid careless interceptions makes no sense. Why? Because the offense is already bland, and most of Daks picks aren't on "Slinging it around" type routes.....most of them aren't even over 15 yards. Not following Fish on this take at all....Dak's picks are largely due to "lack of judgement" and "inaccuracy"

Still lose
Maybe but we have a good chance. Those interceptions were game killers. The defense busting their butts all game for nothing. Held the 49ers under 20. That should be enough to win. Dak didn't have to play great ....just average and we would have had a chance. There is no excuse for the way he played. He choked.

I think we win. Those turnovers led to points in a very close game.
We lost by 7 and never came close to scoring. And sf was moving it at will to end the game. We lose 100%

We didn't come close to scoring because Dak throws a pick deep in the 49ers territory.
We score there, and it's a different ball game.
Then, Dak throws a pick that leads to 3 points.
And the 49ers were moving at will near the end of the game because our offense couldn't sustain drives that resulted in scores.
We sustain drives, we keep our offense on the field and our defense off the field so the latter won't get as tired.
And if that happens we likely win.

TY was wide open for 6 and Dak missed him. Turpin should have ran back a KR for 6 but runs into the kicker instead. We had so many opportunities even though Dak was giving the game away

Well for one this team isn't ever going to win in a game that comes down to reliance on Dak Prescott's arm. So really what you need is a monster offensive line and a punishing running game mixed with 20 or less throws a game. Anything more or any demands that Dak carry anything is simply not a winning formula with this QB.

I'll tell you what got under my skin in the game is when we were 3rd and 5 driving on their side of the field. Dak attempts this long pass to Lamb I think and he had to like dive left for it missing it. Why are we going for that when we need a first down and a fresh set of downs? Yea...there's spots to take shots down field but is 3rd and 5 one of them? Use your f-ing brain!

Yes. If we did something we showed absolutely no signs of being able to do , we win the game. That’s not the topic here. If Dak doesn’t throw 2 ints and everything else is the same. We lose. That’s the topic.

But everything wouldn't have been the same if he didn't throw those 2 interceptions. Those interceptions changed the game.

Dak is a liability now, he cannot be trusted to take care of the ball. That means we are going to have to start being way more conservative and rely on the running game and defense to win.

Dak has to be managed like he is an undrafted rookie, that means pretty much only "safe throws" where the pass is either completed or incomplete. No more of these sideline routes that are pick 6s every dam week. No more short passes over the middle where the LBs are just sitting on the routes, no more throws into tight windows, just cut his reads down to one half of the field to simplify everything.

Yeah, it sucks that you have to baby your $40 million dollar QB because he cant stop turning the ball over, but it is what it is. Since we cant get rid of him due to his contract, we are going to have to manage him way more next season because he is too much of a liability to just let him be aggressive, those day are over.
I’ve seen HOF’s get chewed out on the sidelines. Dak should be no different

37 pass attempts to just 22 run attempts. We all know what that means. This is as much Kellen's fault. It was a 7 point game. Why are we throwing so much???

At this point all the Cowboys can do is beef up the OL the best they can. Make sure the run game can't be stopped and Dak can stand there all day when he does have to pass.
