Dak to Butler

Williams has a catch percentage of 73%(62% for his career) this year. Butler is at 50%(52% for his career).

Dallas won't keep both next season. They could even move on from both of them. I think maybe one gets signed and then they find another FA WR or draft a guy.

Butler is on the level of Sam Hurd. He's not a starter. Either sign Williams (quality FA) or go into the draft looking for a big time WR prospect.

My biggest issue with Williams, as inconsistent as he's been, is he's a body catcher. It makes him too small of a target, IMO. Especially compared to Butler.

How has he been inconsistent?

He plays on a dominant running team, that has 3 other mouths to feed before you get to him. You'll miss him when he's gone

Daks best throw in this game(1 of his best this season) was his over the shoulder throw to Williams.

His throws from Chicago and Cincinnati were also beautiful throws to Williams.

I have no clue. Either way, I'd like to see a larger sample size from Butler.

But not at the expense of team success. Williams is waking up so to speak. Let's keep him involved. Butler is an added weapon and deep ball threat. Keep throwing to the open man, whoever that is. It's not broke so don't fix it.

Consistency is the key for Brice Butler. In terms of physical talent- size, speed, burst- he's on a Dez Bryant level.

I want him to be a factor week in, week out, and this offense will be even scarier.

draft or FA is fine. but i imagine that means williams or butler would probably be gone.
