Yep.

Problem is....the receivers were too often playing defense for the other team.

Yeah, once they realize the ball was coming their way. They had no other choice all of them to play defense.

I do that too much with the too many periods thing, I need to cool it down.

I usually don't mind it. There are typos and grammar mistakes in all manner of professional writings...from government documents, edited novels, academic paperwork. A couple errors here and there...especially on the phone...to be expected and not an issue in getting the drift.

But as soon as someone makes an issue of it...especially trying to use it as some weapon to diminish someone else's argument...well I'm all in.
