Dak vs. Hurts

This has zero to do with Dak.

If any player fumbles into a fumble-6 it is VERY costly. In a game decided with seconds left it is obviously more critical.

Hurts was really good all day but that play was insanely costly. With the way Hurts played had he not fumbled that into a Chiefs TD, the game would have literally been over at halftime.
The Chiefs only had a handful of 2nd half possessions.

If Dak was QBing that Eagles team yesterday they probably win by 10.
Outside QB and TE I am not sure the Chiefs had an advantage in any other position on the field.

Hurts is a good player but anyone who actually watches QBs saw limitations yesterday.
LOL. Dude. Hurts threw for 300, ran for another 70 and 3 TDs. Yeah he fumbled but he didn't throw a pick.

Yet somehow, you conclude that Dak, who led all starting QBs in turnovers would have been perfect and not turned the ball over himself and would have led them to a 10 point win?

They both have something in common now. Both cost their team an important game with a turnover. If that was Dak fumbling away a TD in the Super Bowl, half the threads on the board would be trade or cut Dak threads or Dak sucks threads. Sometimes, the other team makes a good play. You have to live with it as long as it doesn’t keep repeating itself.
Yes, bloke, I could see how the misfortune of a great QB in THE SUPER BOWL would be comforting to a JAG (Deek) who has never advanced past the first round of the playoffs.

Dak gives the Cowboys no discernable advantage over the iggles. Jalen Hurts is a more mobile threat.

Hurts fumble was quickly negated by the following drive that he scored on.

and oh by the way, Hurts offense scored 5 TDs…..not 1 like Daks offense did.

Hurts is a baller and there’s no erasing what we just saw…..sorry Dak apologists, but the facts are the facts

This is what you said: "double the amount of INTs and fumbles in almost the same amount of games played"

So based on my reply:

Romo 150 games played 117 int's 62 fumbles

Dak 97 games played 65 int's 52 fumbles

So Romo had 179 int's/fumbles (not all fumbles turned over) compared to Dak's 117 int's/fumbles

Based on your original comment of Romo having DOUBLE the amount of fumbles and int's as Dak, shouldn;t Romo have had 130 int's and 104 fumbles???? Also, according to you they played in almost the same amount of games.....so perhaps your math is different but how is 97 games almsot the same as 150 games?????

So again how did Romo have double the amount of fumbles and int's as Dak in almost as many games? Oh wait, he didn't so again you are lying about things to try and falsely prove a point.
117 vs 65? Yes, almost double.

Yes Hurts had a big fumble but he came right back and answered with a TD drive and pretty much played mistake-free the rest of the game to give his team a chance. After those 2 Dak INTs against the 49ers, he couldn't do anything for the rest of the game.

It doesn't have to be about Dak at all but you are obsessed with him so I used the example.

10 other QBs would have won that game as well.
The Eagles were loaded for bear and Hurts was not asked to make a plus throw all game.
Her played very well overall but same way Brock Purdy did pre-injury.
Benefit of great blocking plus guys making plays for you it is pretty hard to not succeed.
The title and OP is supposedly about Dak.

You said, if it doesn't happen all the time and with Dakota "WENTZ 2.0" Prescot it happened all the time! His constant turnovers put the defense behind the 8 ball almost every game, this is why Parsons spoke out after the 9er game that WENTZ 2.0's turnovers cost them the game!

Hurts is a unique WEAPON . A strong runner that can give defenses fits, and has just picked apart the KC defense with his passing ( 313 + yards ) No comparison. No GM would take dak over Jalen Hurts today , none..

What Hurts showed last night is that he is far better than Dak. It's not even close.
He may be better…but Philly has an elite TE, and 2 Elite receivers…if that was Lamb caught up in traffic on that TD pass to Brown…Lamb does not make the catch. The Cowboys don‘t like playmakers or players with speed. And their OL is light years more effective than ours…

I do think our defence is better…

apparently...if we're elevating jalen.
so..
was it jalen or the team?
you tell me.
I'm just pointing out how the people go from one to the other depending on what they are trying to prove or defend.

I am very much in the camp that it is a team game HOWEVER you can talk about how any one individual performs without discussing how the team performed.

The Eagles have the best QB in the division going into next season.

Prescott isn't too far off, but the Jones family need more playmakers on both sides of the ball. Free agency, trade and draft need to be used to bridge the gap.
Yah, after last nights performance Hurts has proven the doubters wrong. He definitely took the next step. Now he has an all world team and Oline around him, but he makes plays, big plays with both legs and his arm.

At this point he is either better than Dak or just as good.

Someone else would have gotten blamed entirely for the loss with that fumble for 6.
Context matters though. Dak getting us to SB in his second season as starter and having one fumble, no he wouldn't get fully blamed.

Dak with 7 years of history of not performing well against high level competition and of having turnovers, yes.

Yeah no, there are fans here that have voodoo dolls of Dak fired up after we win a game.
No one cares a lick about context. It's completely irrational.

It's funny how as the older guys retire we're getting more comparisons to guys with a lot less experience than Dak. Elite guys aren't usually getting lapped by the new draft classes. If Goff continues playing like he did this last season the best in class debate will start up again.
