They both have something in common now. Both cost their team an important game with a turnover. If that was Dak fumbling away a TD in the Super Bowl, half the threads on the board would be trade or cut Dak threads or Dak sucks threads. Sometimes, the other team makes a good play. You have to live with it as long as it doesn’t keep repeating itself.
Seriously?
Hurts had 4 TDs vs only 1 turnover...so an heroic PLUS 3 for the night.
Any team would take that in a Super Bowl. That MVP level play

Dak had only 1 TD vs 2 turnovers....or an awful MINUS 1

It IS a team game, but come one......
You can't get any more different than that in a single game setting

Really? He made several very high level throws.

He played outstanding other than the one gaffe.
What throw did you consider a plus throw?
Or are you just generalizing that he had a good game. He very much did.

He took 3 deep shots to AJ Brown. 1 could be considered a plus throw if you ignore the DB was in good position but just got bullied out of the way.
Announcer even noted he just threw it up because his guy was better. He was, 45-yard TD.

1 was well out of bounds, 1 was into double coverage and could have been picked.

The majority of the completions were not into tight windows or demonstrating any plus skill in any throwing area.
He had a solid game but it was pain by numbers with an OL that gave him ALL Day and a bevy of targets open every play.
It was seldom ever 3rd and 5+.

It was essentially Cooper Rush with plus wheels.

None of that means Hurts wasn't good and didn't do his job. He very much did.
But the same people hyping him will be very confused when he has less advantages and struggles.

Hurts played very well last night and he was not the reason they lost. But Hurts is not a good passer. All his throws are screens, quick slants and deep fly patterns. He is a one read QB because he has the same weakness as Dak in processing, but the Eagles offense is built to suit Hurts. Only way Dak succeeds is for the offense to be a one read or run. Unfortunately, Dak can't or is not willing to run anymore. He has become one dimensional and QBs that can't process and can't run will eventually be sitting on the bench.

Dallas played a 1 read system.
Kellen's entire offense is based upon pre-read take what the defense gives you.
It is a counter-based offense.

But any offense falls flat when you can't win 1v1 battles.
Dallas took a big step back by design this year as they rebuilt the OL and WR corps.

The Eaglers offense was a juggernaut with the leagues best OL by far and legit weapons at WR1, WR2 and TE.
The 3 headed back field was probably league average but boosted by a tremendous OL.

The Eagles had a fairly injury free season only seeing guys sit very late in the year where they did lose a couple games including to Dallas with Dak at the helm.

Dak was tremendous versus the Bucs in round 1 but had zero answers in SF. He is a good QB, but not a great one. Not yet, and maybe not ever.

Question is how will Dak handle a new offense? Is he just a system guy?
Hard to argue with scoring the most points per game the last 2 seasons as his offense did.
But it fell apart when defenses could answer those questions and win 1v1.
Now we see him under MM's WCO.

The fumble return TD, in a game in which they lost by 3, wasn't game-changing?

They still had a 10 pt lead at halftime after the fumble tied the game. Plus Hurts had 4 tds, no ints. Bad fumble yes but he came right back and score 2 more time before halftime. Shoot this is the first SB that Mahomes didn't throw a int. Hurts is better than Dak and he does not have an annoying brother who own fan base hates

Hurts' Hail Mary to end the game traveled a measly 50 yards when he needed it to go at least 70.

Cute noodle arm he's got there.

I'l leave you to be dazzled by him. Most QBs would look pretty good with the best OL in football and an incredible receiving corps.

Hurts is good, not great. And he's only "good" because of his ability as a runner.

Poor Hurts... only being able to toss the ball 50 yards with an injured throwing shoulder.

Anything to make Dak look better, right?

117 vs 65? Yes, almost double.
That is a sure sign of a fan who follows a loser.
If you have to compare your loser QB to another player 7 years retired, you are in need of a better QB to back.

You are a true blue fan and are fun with whom to spar, but you deserve better, lad. Someday we shall have a good QB and we will share popcorn and tea and exult in our team!

Hurts by a mile. Just compare playoff wins and Super Bowl appearances.
I believe Hurts also has a college national championship. Dak has a Mississippi State cap and towel.

Interesting seeing as how Dak's last pass against SF, a pass that needed to go near 70 yards, went a whole 7 yards.

The difference between Dak and Hurts is, Hurts has a more dominant offensive line. Any dominant offensive line will make an average QB look better than he is. I’ll take Dak over Hurts.
