The funny thing is Dak is wayyyyy more Hollywood than Romo ever was, but AC still harps on that like it means something.

Dak and Romo both are losers on the football field.
I don't call players losers because I know it takes an organization - from personnel management, coaching, synergistic team play, etc. - to win SBs. But obviously, some players are better than others.

I just know that the Cowboys had a better chance of winning a SB with a prime Romo ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL than with a prime Dak. And I'm 99.9% certain all objective, knowledgeable football people will agree with me.

Romo 150 games played 117 int's 62 fumbles

Dak 97 games played 65 int's 52 fumbles

So Romo had 179 int's/fumbles (not all fumbles turned over) compared to Dak's 117 int's/fumbles.......so how is that double and how is 150 games compared to 97 games "...almost the same amount of games played"??????

Yet again we have emotions creating false facts so as to try and prove a non-point.
117 INTs is only 13 INTs short of doubling 65 INTs. Not that hard to figure out.

As we all have been reminded by some people, what that fumble did was give points to the other team. It matters.
But he didn't visibly crumble, unlike some. Everyone's going to make mistakes, it's how you cope with them that matters. Hurts was able to overcome the error....that appears to be Dak's weakness, when something goes wrong or isn't working he isn't able to up his game to compensate.

Do you think the Eagles lose without that fumble? I don’t. And yes, Dak hasn’t made it to the Super Bowl, and Hurts played a very good game overall. Still, that fumble was a killer in the end. I will say Hurts is the better QB now.
they lost as team that's 2 fumbles and huge punt return and holding penalty's. that how you lose close games that typically what happens to Dallas, yet the qb gets blamed, also like in Dallas. Not on hurts or dak Team all contributed to the loss. that run game got stopped and then they became a passing team. thats tough when you arent who you were that got you to the SB, the chiefs flipped the script and ran the ball and threw efficiently dint make the mistakes and won.

You shouldn't be lecturing anyone on being fair and impartial.

Yes, we had some issues talent wise around him (which I have pointed out ad nauseum dating back to August camp when I argued with people Jerry didn't do enough at WR). But also, Dak was brutal in that San Fran game and you can't blame that on not having enough WRs. He was brutal mostly on his own. You seem to think it can't be both. So LOL at you trying chastise people for being biased. You literally spend all your time on this board making excuses for Dak.
And insulting people who disagree with him.

He's your QB whether you like it or not.
No, I have openly said that I don't plan on watching if he's under center. I knew he was seriously flawed in 2017. Argued against the contract he was given. Yet I stayed open minded that he might become a real QB. But that time has come and gone. It's time to move on. The team knows it, but they are hamstrung by their bad decision. I am not. Side note. It was awesome watching real football last night.

A bit confused with what or who you're trying to troll, but Hurts played to an outstanding 79.7 QBR, the fumble wasnt game changing, and he came back and the Egg's score two TD's after the fumble.
ROFL. My dude the funble went th eother way for a fumble 6. Yes, it was game changing.
It kept the Chiefs in the game in the 1st half.

All that said Hurts was really good aside from showing he lacked any arm at all on deep heaves.
Having a max distance of 45 yards is a tough road to hoe for an NFL QB.

Hurts did have the screw up but they were up 10 at half. For the most part he was great last night. Their defense kind of crapped the bed the 2nd half.

There is no comparison between how Hurts played in his last game and Dak did. Dak was a major reason (note, not the sole reason) that we lost to San Fran.

Ok. Does this mean you won't be commenting on these Cowboys the next several years Dak is still their QB? It wouldn't be fair to talk about them if you don't watch their games.

Letting homes hobble up the field for 40 yards probably hurt more than the fumble.

Beg him to throw.

Seemed to not work. He had a QB rating of 101.5 this year and only threw 2 picks. They were arguably the best offense in the NFL and you don't get that with a mediocre QB.

This idea that all he does is make 1 read and throw the ball is funny. Again, the level of criticism of Hurts is simply because he's an Eagle. He was great this year. We'll see what next year brings.
If by 2 you mean 6...ok.

Only nit.

Not excuses. Facts. You Dak haters simply can't handle facts because your feelings get hurt. Here is a fact that doesn't care about anyone's feelings but is based on purely fact: Dak is going to remain the Cowboys franchise QB for several more years to come, and he's going to remain the starter because he gives the Cowboys the best chance to win with what they've got. Let's see if you can handle those facts.
Facts are Jerry skimped at WR in the offseason AND Dak didn't play particularly well at times this year, including in the final game.

Dak stunk against San Fran. That's a fact. We need help at WR. That's also a fact. You seem to be under some sort of impression that it has to be either/or when in fact it can be both.

Your last couple of sentences are laughable. Of course he's going to be our QB for a few years more. And of course, given what we have, he's our best chance to win (Cooper Rush fans are hilarious). But with each passing season, my expectations that Dak can deliver a SB get lower and lower.

Fair enough. Good points.

You tell me? You're the Romo diehard around here.
Who the hell is a flippin Romo diehard? The man hasn't played since 2016. You're the only one who even talks about him any more. Anyone who is critical of Dak, there you are front and center calling that person a Romo lover. Geebus, man, find some new material.

We had 3 first team all-pros on the line in 2016 and a RB that won the rushing title by over 300 yards.

Dak is a loser on the football field and will always find a way to lose.
It is a rough offseason for MC when he has to pick on rookie QB getting beat by a legend on a miracle play...lol

Hes a grown a$-$ man and can stick up for himself but steve is far from someone who makes excuses for Dak. Zeke maybe but not dak.

No you on the other hand have been pretty consistant on your dak bashing. Maybe you said things about the WR in camp but what I have seen mostly is dak this or dak that. Which is ok but it dont tell the whole picture
