Dak was incredible

And all pro line yet he led the league last year in yards after contact and close to 1000 yards of his was after being hit..

Comical..

Yards after contact does nothing to negate the point that the o-line led to Zeke's success. If you think otherwise then you're ignorant, it's that simple.

Teams are still stacking the box against who you think is a bum.. reality is, the arm of Dak or the legs of Zeke, defenses still choose the legs of Zeke and continue to despite what you say him being a bum..

Teams are stacking the box because they fear the Dallas o-line can open a yawning chasm that anyone and their dog can stroll through. Like that bum Zeke, for example.

If any word describes Dak, it's crafty. He's a little bit RWilson, but way more careful. RW actually throws a lot in tight windows off his legs.

And Dak wins the game on his arm?

Dez broke like 12 tackles on a basic crossing route.. Zeke scored the other TD..
:)

That was one of his best performances thus far.

Proud of the way he bounced back. Kid's a keeper.

What makes it big time in my book is that nothing has come easily for the offense so far this year. In spite of that Dak willed his team to victory ... all guts. Fans can rest a little easier knowing as the year goes along things will eventually look and feel smoother as this offense finds a groove. Until then they have a QB with brass balls.

So the OL has nothing to do with Dak's success?

So the OL isn't good this year, but they bring 8 and 9 man fronts to stop Zeke even more regularly?

Got it..

Point to where I said this?

You can tell the o-line isn't as good this year - Zeke's numbers are down. But I never said the o-line wasn't good. It's always easy to know when someone's run out of things to say, it's when they start concocting strawman arguments.

Is his arm kicking field goals regularly like they did against the Giants?

His arm was responsible for the last two touchdowns, which won them the game. There's little doubt about that.

So their OL isn't good this year, but they still choose to load the box to stop Zeke and let Dak try and beat them with his arm..

Great logic..

Another strawman. Good to know you still have nothing

Oh yeah.. his arm carried Dez through like six people.. and Dak was responsible for Zeke's TD, because he carried him through that narrow gap between Collins and Martin?

Dez' touchdown didn't win the Cowboys the game. Zeke's touchdown was a direct result of Dak's arm and his dual-threat mobility, which is what gave Zeke extra room to move. Zeke finished it off, but that touchdown was a result of Dak's throw. Revel in Dak's brilliance.

Clearly you don't know what the definition of straw man is..

Says the man who's constructed at least 3 this argument, so far.

So how is Dak's brilliance not giving Zeke room to move the rest of the time Zeke supposedly sucks? How exactly did a straight hand off by Dak give Zeke extra room?

So that play action off Zeke that caused the whole defense to go his direction, with Linehan calling a bootleg the opposite direction did not give Dak all that time to chuck a ball up to a guy in single coverage, but Dak'a presence supposedly gave Zeke room to run..

Got ya.. profound logic

So, and they did last year too and Zeke ypc was 5.0 not 3.6.

As I said on another post in this same thread MORE often now.. they weren't doing it as much this year. Teams like Denver specifically said they are gonna go after Zeke and make Dak beat them.

We also gave Dak more responsibility this year early, with a bunch of spread sets when before and he's looking average..

What? Am I reading this right? So what you're saying is if the o-line and Dak doesn't give Zeke every possible advantage to strut his stuff, then it's ... not his fault for his poor gains? Jesus, I guess Dak isn't the only guy who's lucky to land on a team with a dominating offensive line, huh?

A pinpoint throw 50 yards on the move. It may have been made easier on Dak because there weren't 3 guys chasing him but still a quality play. Meanwhile if Zeke gets suspended for 6 games I'd expect McFadden to come in and do a comparable job, that's how average Zeke's form has been.
