This is Prescott, on targets of 15+ yards, in his career (includes playoffs):

48 of 97 1,276 yds 12 td 1 int 130.7

That passer rating leads the NFL since the beginning of the 2016 season.

And here's Dak on 15+ yard targets when his team is trailing in the game:

20 of 42 549 yards 7 td 0 int 133.4

Which also leads the NFL.

He's doing this in his first 19 career games, without an established "deep threat."

LOL 13 pages of debating whether or not our QB who put up over 10 yds/attempt, a 141+ passer rating and got a big road win played well???

Hilarious!!!

"He just threw up prayers" LOLLL no, he threw gorgeous strikes on the run when he had 1-on-1 coverage, and put the ball in a place where his guy could go make a play. That's called "playing QB in the NFL" for all the casual fans reading this.

Zeke hasn't done much the 1st 3 games, yet we are 2-1.

He's done enough that teams are stacking 8 and 9 men in the box so that Dak can chuck balls up off play action bootlegs to guys in 1 on 1 matchups like Butler..

You make it sound like Dak did nothing. He made plenty of good plays to go along with his mistakes.

This thread is about him being incredible. It was equivalent to any average QB has had surrounded by talent and a great OL.. a couple big plays here and there built off defenses keying in on somebody else as a whole..

They're stacking the box based off his reputation from last year. So far this year, Zeke's done nothing, and as more time passes it's becoming increasingly apparent we made a mistake not accepting that 6 match suspension.

We? Accepting or appealing the suspension does not involve "we".

What? So they stack the box to effectively stop him and Dak isn't making them pay to take pressures of Zeke with these loaded boxes and it's Zeke's fault?

"We" is a general term and can be used in many situations. In this situation context should lead you to infer that "we" means "Dallas Cowboys"

You said he's done enough this year to get teams to stack the box. That is dead wrong, he's done nothing this year, they're stacking the boxes because of his form from last year.

Also he's lost explosiveness and his head is arguably not consistently in the game, but that's subjective.

You keep mentioning that the offense was dumbed down for Dak.

Nobody outside that locker room can say with any certainty whether or not this is true. You have zero proof of this.

You just say as if this was a fact to support your anti-Dak narrative.

Of course it is.. when your calling a bunch of bootlegs as a staple, your effectively limiting half the field, because your not suppose to throw the ball across your body and you got WRs going that direction...

Sturm in his charting of the Giants game as an example talked about how the psssing game was built off low risk throws, taking advantage of spacing and open field without a high degree of difficulty. That requires coaches calling the game not doing things on the fly.

So they are stacking the box and yet, they continue to stack the box because he is sucking and Dak is doing everything to not make them not stack the box..

Got ya..

Your rambling does nothing to change the fact that you were wrong, are wrong, and will continue to be wrong if you pursue this point. But feel free to, knock yourself out.

You mean he threw it in a place where both guys were and whoever jumped up to get it and come down with it could or he threw the ball, perfectly placing it in Butler's hand?

Rambling.. your saying teams are stacking the box on reputation alone.. he has over 100 yards against the Giants.. Dak looked like a turd against Denver and Dallas only game the ball to Zeke 9 times rushing while Dak was forced to throw like 50 times and had only like 60 yards of total offense on his arm primarily for a large majority of the hand, and this game the TD to Dez was preceded by three straight runs by Zeke pushing them into Cardinals territory and the play action bomb was built off still running at Zeke and Zeke then proceeds to score against that front, but Zeke isn't doing anything..

Got it.. teams continue to stack the box against an ineffective RB and yet, Dak still throwing up duds but they continue to stack the box to stop him based on 'reputation'...

Love the argument

.

It isn't the Dallas Cowboys decision, either. Ezekiel Elliott is the only one responsible for accepting or appealing the suspension. The Dallas Cowboys and the NFLPA can choose to support Elliott's decision or not, but it was his decision alone.

I don't understand how him serving a 6 game suspension right now helps him.

RG3 was pretty good his first year..

How about just look at the numbers this year, you know when teams are stacking 8 or 9 in the box and Dez is healthy.. Dez isn't an established deep threat?

Hers is Dez's passing chart for example against the Giants this year:

1505221900-DakChartWeek1.jpg

Hardly accurate past ten yards and hardly a great example of a QB that is a deep threat one..

I'm sure Denver is even worse and if you adjust to the fact all of Dak's yardage was in scrub time, it wouldn't help the case..

Zeke looked like a turd against Denver. A big, fat, unfit, mind elsewhere, get-me-out-of-here, lazy, **** turd. He got the ball 9 times because he played like a big fat turd. Zeke's reputation was made from an all pro O-line that we don't have this year. Prepare for Zeke to look down all year.

But this game Zeke showed up, made possibly one great play, Dak wins the game on his arm and "oh, look at Zeke, he's actually doing his job for once this year". Good game Zeke, good to see you weren't walking.

Because it looks like his mind is elsewhere

And all pro line yet he led the league last year in yards after contact and close to 1000 yards of his was after being hit..

Comical..

Teams are still stacking the box against who you think is a bum.. reality is, the arm of Dak or the legs of Zeke, defenses still choose the legs of Zeke and continue to despite what you say him being a bum..

And Dak wins the game on his arm?

Dez broke like 12 tackles on a basic crossing route.. Zeke scored the other TD..
