Haha he’s horrible guys. Even when he has protection he can’t see so he rolls out. He’s so bad...Seahawks have worse offense in the nfl. I would die if Wilson was the cowboys qb. In a couple years Wilson is just another RG3 , Tebow or kaepernick .

And who is Dak.....Staubach?????

I remember one play on second down in the third where he specifically avoided a rush by a defender between the left tackle and left guard and he forced that throw to Witten, but it was so low and if it was any higher it would have been an INT... he gets away with plays here and there that should be INTs, but since his throwing is very inconsistent with his mechanics the bad passes bail him out.
He was clearly throwing the ball away on that play.

We had no sustained drives last night to speak of. Last year, that is what kept our defense alive. We were very fortunate to come out of there with a win. We did because the Arizona line could not block 3 players while we covered with 8. Anybody who thinks the offense won that game is out of their mind. 3 of our TD's started at the 50, Ari 46 and Ari 33.

We won that game because of the Dline!

What were Dak's numbers from the pocket?

That's what concerns me long term.

With all due respect...I've only been around here over 10 years and a student of the game over 20 but a 2nd year QB is reading defenses because the stats you stated says so. Now THAT'S watching the game.
LOL. I struck a nerve.

A "student of the game" that didn't know that the Giants, Broncos and Cardinals are strong defensively.

I dispute that.

Linehan dumbed down the offense for Dak.

The pass to Butler was a play action roll out on a first that sold the whole defense to bite.

The TD by Dez was all his legs after a crossing route after a few great runs by Zeke.

None of these passes were 'make plays on my feet street ball style'.
You keep mentioning that the offense was dumbed down for Dak.

Nobody outside that locker room can say with any certainty whether or not this is true. You have zero proof of this.

You just say as if this was a fact to support your anti-Dak narrative.

He better improve in the pocket or else he’s another Russell Wilson. Wilson is now horrible and he’ll be out of league soon. He is only decent when he rolls out. Hopefully Dak can improve.
Russell Wilson o-line is worse than the Giants or the Cards. It is probably the worst in football. And there are a lot of bad o-lines out there.

He is running for his life every play.

I'm not piling on Dak, but I don't quite get why he isn't using Beasley as his safety net like he did last year. I think its mucking things up for the offense.

This game demonstrates the real attributes of a winning quarterback.

It isn't arm strength, size, and accuracy, although they are desirable. However, the most valuable assetts of a winning QB is leadership, poise, persistence, and intelligence.

Dak wasn't in sync for moat of the first half so he relied on his teammates and his ability to run.

In the 2nd half he began to get in rythm and just started getting better and better.

Let me say this with emphasis:

Dak is exactly the kind of quarternack you need in the 4th quarter of a game with everything on the line. The more pressure to produce, the better he plays.

Dak is pure ice. He is a big game playoff quarterback and he will prove it in January.

He is just going to get better and better.

Lol. Sounds good. But it is wrong. Accuracy has historically been the best predictor of great quarterbacks.

It started off rough but ended pretty well. Dak needed it to play out like it did for his own self confidence and he passed with flying colors.

He had 25 yards passing at halftime.

Fortunately the game has two halves. He played well in the second half. That happens quite a bit in football. Sometimes it is the opposite. Play well in the 1st half and then suck it up in the second. He and the team put more than enough together to win the game.

If someone who wasn't familiar with football read this board they would think Dallas was 0-3 on the season and were incapable of doing anything right.
