Well the problem DID migrate. Yesterday, the Defense was undoubtedly the strength of the team. The agenda is that there's always an excuse for Dak. That "THE PROBLEM" post issued the declaration that the Defense needed to improve, IT DID.....now it's Dak's turn to reciprocate.
The problem did not migrate, it's always always always been Daks inconsistency.

I agree. It was like he had an outer body experience during the Tampa game. The last time he played that well was against the Vikings imo (another loss but he played as well as he can play to his credit)

We agree dead on. The “great” games stick out like a sore thumb with Dak, they are so abnormal from his normal play. The fact both you and I said TB and the Vikings, particularly the latter, out of all his games is really not a coincidence. It’s just surprising a lot of people don’t see it.

So what QB are you going to magically dial up and offer Dak's job to? Its all a moot point. Jerry will decide when its time to move on from Dak. As a fan you have a choice: support Dak and the team, or find a different team to follow.
If that's your take, EVERYTHING we discuss here related to personnel, which is like 90 percent of the discussion, is moot - so why are YOU here at all? It's the reason this please exists.[/QUOTE]

.....which I agree with. However, last week there was the thread that concluded that THE PROBLEM was with the Defense....which totally underplayed the loss of Gregory/Tank.

I'm a Dak Fence Sitter on: Good, but overpaid for a QB that needs an All Star offense around him. What I do hate is the continual excuses (that cover for his main deficiency), especially when the defensive side of the ball is manned primarily by Rookies and cheap JAGS (in comparison to the Offense).

This is the worst I've seen Dak look. Something has to be wrong that we don't know about. And no, he's not a 1 read QB, c'mon guys. Not that it can't happen if he hears footsteps. But normally he isn't.

Did you miss the 2019 season? :lmao:

Just because there is a thread saying something doesn't make it true. The defense has been much improved this season and is just getting better more of our guys come off IR. It is not a problem his season.

He’s too slow. Know he was never fast but his speed very bad. Plus he’s playing scared/tentative and they are calling plays cause they can’t trust him.

No, but what's happened is that last week the focus was put on the Defense as the weakness, when the true issue (especially when the rushing triumvirate of Gregory/Tank and Micah are all back) was going to be on the Offense (including Dak and his accuracy).

If factions on this board is willing to support the position that the Defense was the problem and needed to improve then the same needs to be levelled at Dak (and to a lesser extent his unit).

Bahahaha. Wrong state. Don’t want him hurt, just earning that $$ instead of stealing it.

nah..

You’re Mississippi dyed in the wool and you and your other fellow NC (man, what do you think this means lol?) from the South both stated you hated him and wished he’d get hurt after the Saints win.

Speaking of..

Remember when you guys said wins only matter when it comes to Dak and not stats?

Apparently that’s not true either lmao

believe it or not there are plenty of people on this forum and involved in college and NFL that would be better at choosing talent. Jerry only cares about marketing.
You must have forgotten how Jerry was impressed and wanted to draft Johnny Manziel.
Duning-Kruger afflicts you.

Not surprised. If you were running the GM position of this franchise, you’d bury it into a loop of 1-15 seasons and then you’d get super pissed when you couldn’t just turn the Xbox off or delete the franchise and start over.

Hey..

didn’t I call you an idiot a couple weeks ago?

NAILED IT!!

The O-Line is hot garbage? The game you were watching, dak was constantly running for his life?
Why must people add their interpretations of a post they're responding to? At times, Dak made it worse. At times he was getting hit, hurried etc. He got sacked multiple times and our running game was embarrassing.
Sounds a lot like the O line was hot garbage. I noticed you also conveniently left out parts of my post. I also clearly stated that the entire offense was awful.
This isn't hard.

Just balancing up last weeks thread that concluded......

......"BOTTOM LINE- the stats don’t always tell the whole story. But it’s still clear- the offense is not the team’s biggest problem. THE PROBLEM THAT MOST NEEDS IMPROVEMENT IS THE DEFENSE."

If the Defense was labelled "THE PROBLEM", last week, then it's only fair to put that moniker on Dak this week.
Only that wouldn't be fair because the entire offense sucked. At least compare Apples to Apples in your Dak hatred.

Exactly. That is what I see as well. That's what he was doing his rookie year and it was a big change at the beginning of this year. He has gone back to that.
exactly....thats why I keep saying its the injury...starting 2018 and 19,20, 21 he didn't have those issues any more. earlier in the year he didn't have it and now he is just plain awful. on the interception returned for TD, he lifted his right foot, and made a throw, with his hip pointing forward, leaning on the left leg and a side arm throw....he clearly was in a hurry and didn't want to deal with the situation.....he didn't even look for the defender and he missed Schultz earlier in the route.

right now, he is not fine. and its impacting his mindset and that's way off too. he is a mess.

Dak played bad...not an excuse but he is injured and its showing. his footwork is awful awful awful. he doesn't want to put any weight on his right leg. even when he runs, it looks like Jaylon Smith Running. more hopping than running. when he got hit by King on the sideline, instead of putting his right foot down and continue to run out of bounce, he just bend his knee going down knee first, which is not what you are supposed to do (and hurt the knee too). on his interception returned for TD, he lifted his right foot. hip pointing forward, weight on left leg only and side armed the throw. he clearly was trying to avoid putting weight on his back leg and turn the hip....he is unable to do that at this time.

with that said, again, not an excuse, you are injured and you are not helping the team...this is impacting the offense. his play is sub-par. its impacting him mentally too as he is frustrated and it shows. he is awful awfl awful going to the right. he is better from the pocket and he is meh going to his left as he can't run and turn to make the throws... this is leading to inaccurate throws, inconsistent release point, inconsistent plays and impacting offense...

perhaps given we have 4 games to go, with 3 game lead, then we should sit him for next 3 weeks. let him heal (not sure if enough time), what ever happens happens. we play giants, philly, WFT and we can win 1 of those at least....then let him play the last week in preparation for playoffs.

this trying to fight through the injury craap is not working.

There are always better people out there, in every field, but the percentages favor those immersed in it for a living. To assume Jerry only cares about marketing is kind of like saying everyone you don’t like spends their day laughing maniacally while abusing children and small animals. People complain and overreact and second guess far too much, and no matter what the team does, there will never be a shortage of whiners.
