Wait.

Now, I've been saying ALL year that Philly hasn't beaten a single good team. EVERY fan with blue and silver glasses in here has been saying the same thing, all year.
We've been in agreement.

But NOW, all of a sudden, Minnesota is a trophy to put on our mantel? Philly destroyed them too.

So which is it? Is beating the vikings a sign of legitimacy? Or not? I say NO.

But your answer CAN'T be that beating the Vikings is a sign of strength for us, but not for Philly. You can't be saying that....right?
Why do you insist on crappy on the Cowboys after such a dominating win?

Philly played Vikings like the 2nd game of the season. At that time nobody knew what aby team was going to be. MINNESOTA over the past few weeks has been talked about as a legit team.most thought we would lose

Yes, and we obviously need it to stay that way for the rest of the season as I laid out with Philly's remaining schedule and the fact we now have the tiebreaker on Miny. So, if we tie with Minnesota for the top seed, the playoffs go through Dallas, and we would have a bye week.

Now that would be sweet !!!

Don't forget, the Eagles next games are the following: Green Bay, Tennessee, @ NYG, @ Chicago, @ us, Saints, and NYG. They're 9-1. We are 7-3. If they, as I see happening, split with the Giants, lose to us, and lose to Tennessee, then that makes them 13-4. If we win all but the Tennessee game, as I think we are capable of doing, then that puts us at 13-4. They, by losing to us and the Giants, would be 3-3 against the division as a result of losing to Washington. We would be 5-1 if we won all remaining division games. That gives us the division if that were to be the case.

I think the Giants are about to collapse. Don't see them beating Philly. I think Chicago will give them fits though.

Don’t forget he used his legs as well. It is ironic that he might have played his best game this week after playing possibly his worst last week. Whatever he did today, just bottle that up and drink it every game day. I’ll praise him every time he plays remotely close to this. Now go and do it consistently!

I agree that Dak did what he needed to do today & deserves credit as such. But in all seriousness, posts that talk about "world class" performances when it was really just a good solid pro QB performance contributes to the yo-yo conversations on this board. He made some nice throws no doubt but the closest to elite was the pass to Pollard for the long TD and honestly it wasn't NFL elite. The pass to Noah would be an example of not world class. If the ball is placed in front of him its a score not a contested catch downed short of the goal line. Just saying, let's keep it realistic.

LOL..

Vikings pass defense is absolute garbage and has been all year.

Pollard was basically running all over the defense and Dallas chewed up TOP, wearing out an already horrible defense by half-time.

Pollard had like a 30 yard TD on a check-down on a blown coverage, when nobody was guarding him and the OL was giving Dak all day to throw. They got Pollard isolated on a LB on 3rd in 14, which is the absolute worst coverage you could give him and he had like 3 yards on the defender.

The Vikings were up 4 games in their division, which is why they rested their LT, who is considered the highest ranked OL in the league.

The game was essentially meaningless for them as far as the division is concerned for them. They went into the game with a 5 game lead over the Lions.

These types of blowout games tell you absolutely nothing regarding a football team and give teams nothing but false hope, as the opposing team plays horrible in every phase in the game.

Dak Prescott was World Class today. Not only in terms of the scores, but he had numerous World Class throws. I'll give you all 3 examples of his World Class throws.

The first example that I'll provide was the ball to Lamb before halftime that set up the 60 yard kick. It was world class because it was in a spot where only Lamb could get it in a spot where we needed a lot of yards. Oh, and if that weren't enough, Dak was on the run. Should add that Lamb's catch was world class too.

The second example that I'll use was the ball to Pollard on 3rd and a long way. If we punted there, we could've let the Vikings back in the game. But, Dak not only throws for a first down, but it proved.to be the killshot. Often times, we hear complaints about how we rarely go for the kill. That was going for the kill, and it basically secured momentum with us for the rest of the game.

The third example was the ball to Noah Brown. This was one where we could've been kicking another long field goal if it didn't work, and it was another long yardage pass. It was a tight window to fit the ball through. Yet, it was a perfect pass that ultimately led to another TD as we proceeded to continue the demolition of Minnesota.

That was a World Class game from Dak. Well done by Dak. Now it's onto the Giants. Now Dak needs to continue that next week. We are currently tied with the Giants for second on tie breakers from our week 3 matchup. A win puts distance and the full head to head lead over NY. With the Colts, Texans, and Jaguars next, that should help us get ourselves into the playoffs with at least a second place finished and playing the 4th seed. Also, a win puts us potentially in striking distance of Philly, and gives us a 3-1 division record should we win. That would equalise us with Philly. This means, should we beat them on Christmas Eve, we would take the divisional record lead on them, especially if they split their series with NY. So, should we be even with them, we could possibly be at least in the second seed and maybe the first seed if we are tied with Minnesota at the end.

In essence, our win today with Dak's performance just put the top seed back on the radar for us. It was a World Class win exactly when we needed a World Class victory.

means nothing. Onto next game.

couldn’t have said it better myself. He was good today, nothing about it was elite. Great bus driving, great Cowboys win

If we are going to nitpick Dak today…..a better throw to Noah was an easy TD

When a guy is that wide open the last thing you wanna do is overthrow it.. so I'll take the underthrow and completion. It was Noah Brown not Kavontae Turpin. That and he needs to learn to git his butt on the ground faster. Took a couple of shots around the legs today that scared the bejeezus outta me..

You know what? That may be, but they came into the game as a 2 seed with an 8-1 record today, and we came off a brutal loss to the Packers. So yes, to me, this was a World Class bounce back, and a class performance by Dak.

He had a great game today. Let’s hold up on the “world class” until we need a score late to win one and he actually delivers.

I could see the Bears actually sneaking one out with Philly. It'd be in Chicago, and the Bears are starting to work out how to play Justin Fields. Also, the Giants might be tettering on collapsing, but I do think they'll split as they play twice. So, I think the 1 seed is still in play for us.

I really liked 2 of his throws to Pollard in the flats. He went thru a few reads, it wasn't there and very fluidly turned and went to his check down immediately. He didn't hitch or stall which is typical of him and would usually result in a badly timed/ bad mechanic throw and would also usually give the defense time to recover. The two throws ended up being big plays. I just hope his confidence continues to grow and slowly rid himself of that hesitant hitch.
