When freddy was first injured, many were experts on stingers. When that diagnosis changed to gbs, zinger experts became gbs experts immediately . Now they're experts in kinesiology and the throwing motion. Same for ankle sprains, high and low, and back injuries. :)
I actually have a degree in kinesiology and body mechanics. I have had multiple surgeries and injuries to my knees, ankle and shoulder. I am also coming of a back injury which required several months of rehab.......just saying.

This, for sure.

It's quite amusing to read on here the contradictory viewpoints from the same people trying to cover Dak's sorry butt from both ends.

"One of his greatest strengths is his ability to run the ball and take a hit and not get injured. He's so strong and athletic. He's not brittle like that last guy we had as our QB"

BUT NOW--

"Those big huge muscles are the reason he can't throw the ball. They are hindering his throwing motion. Dak, without knowing it, is so perfectly sculpted that it prevents him from doing his job. Dak's simply too physically strong and powerful to play QB in the NFL. Poor guy"

What a pile of BS. Watch film. The reason he can't throw the ball with any consistency is that his footwork and mechanics suck. Take a QB with "skinnier" arms and if he is constantly throwing off his back foot, the ball is still going to sail on him or go off target.

His primary job isn't to "take a hit" or to "run the ball". We've got Zeke for that, and he's the best in the league. A helluva lot better than Prescott at running the ball.

Dak's primary job is to scan the field, make the appropriate read in rapid fashion, and deliver the ball on time and on target.

He simply isn't very good at that and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with his "huge guns". Good grief.

There is a lot going on with a poster on this board that is always the same never ending theme, such a shame to have to go through life like that. Always half full baby, never ever half empty, but people choose to see what is not there. Sad...

no, I knew you were being somewhat facetious, or at least I took it that way.
But if you read page 2-4, some of Dak's biggest sniffers are actually running with your idea. Talking about his physique, posting pictures of QB's with grunt faces, tons of garbage. After running out of other people to blame, apparently it's now God's fault, for giving Dak too much muscle than any QB should be expected to handle.

It's the lunatic fringe Dak sniffer brigade that I'm referring to......

After his TD run on Sunday he did his bicep flex. Hes got some serious guns. Most QBs have skinny arms..maybe hes to bulked up and it affects his accuracy. My basketball coaches always hated for their players to lift heavy weight in season cuz they said it affected their shot. I told them they were full of crap, maybe they were on to something.
Look at Tebow's arms. Now, look at Brees, Rodgers, Brady and the Mannings', their arms look more like what you'd expect form the PK's. Bradford was more accurate than Dak and he has Granny Clampett arms. Neither Elway, Kelly or Marino had guns.

The bicep is not the critical muscle, the tricep is and while a lot of these QB's are huge, their arms are not. In fact, they even look underdeveloped for their size.

I said many, not all. Hope the back heals well. I've been lucky. Been shot once and broke an ankle in 2016. Other than that, just the normal aches and pains associated with age. I soak in the ofuro after a day hunting.

I don't think the trainers would let him lift in ways that would hinder his throwing ability.
Might be too late, Dak had a RB build in college and I can't think of another QB in the NFL with that type of build. The one that comes to mind was Bobby Douglas with the Bears, like Dak, he looked like a RB or even LB. He was a tough SOB too.

Some of us have seen enough that a half empty glass can be filled by a good bartender. I had a freshmen QB that threw so hard no one on the freshmen or JV team could catch his ball. His sophomore year, we drilled him to death, but he would still throw heaters when he got rattled. One game we had 12 drops and lost by 4. His junior and senior years he developed a coolness as the game slowed down for him. He developed touch and could still chunk it 70 yards. He also medaled in the discus at the the Texas 6a state track meet. He was big and strong. Can Dak develop into a very good QB? As long as he is on the team, I will continue to see his glass half full. None of my whining is gonna get him benched. I've been whining about Garrett for 8 years and he's still here! His glass has a hole in it and can't be filled!!! Lol

This post just made me wonder if maybe Dak isn't running because he doesn't want to risk injury before getting his contract.......hmmmmmm?

Stephen Jones said he doesn’t want him running, this was around week 4.

Back feels great, thanks. Just gotta be careful not to aggravate it. Not as young as I used to be. All other injuries were from my younger days.

OK, OK, I gotta ask. What the hell is the ofuro? One of those little animals you were stalking get the chance to get by Cabela's and start packing on the prairie?

This is a good point. There is a reason that a lot of successful QBs have dad bods. Core strength, lower body strength, and flexibility are all very important at the position. Many believe that larger, more defined arms limit the flexibility of the arm and limit the angles of the throws
