For me it's quite simple. Dak is an above average QB that can be on a SB winning team i.e. Brad Johnson, Mark Rypien and/or Trent Dilfer. I'd go so far as to say I believe him to better than those I listed. BUT, top 10 means little if you CAN'T win the big games when the lights are brightest IMO. His track record against above .500 teams and perennial playoff contenders leaves a lot to be desired. Kudos for stats and personal accolades, but eventually if you don't win the big games it's a hard case to prove elite status. I'll pull for him while he wears the star, but I won't be too shocked or disheartened to see him go in the next year or two if what he's done to date is his ceiling
