I may be wrong, but I dont see Zeke spinning out of tackles like Murry did. If this is the case, he still has a bit to learn in the NFL. Hershall Walker had a 179 yard game. They did stuff him a lot the last 2 games.

I think you confuse critiquing with ****ting on someone..

Not a single person in this thread that I've read has said that Dak is a bum who shouldn't be on the field. Nobody has said he's trash. Nobody has said he should be benched. THAT's ****ting on him.

But suggesting that his play hasn't been on par based on his previous weeks is basic criticism and i bet he hears it worse in the QB room with the rest of the QBs.

Critiquing his play is normal and as I've always said, no player is above it. Ware, Witten, Romo, T.O., Dez, Zeke... Nobody.
What you say is true, but there are clearly some trolls in this thread.

Exactly. This thread is about passing yards and 38% of Dak's passing yardage against the Vikings came on one play with a blown coverage where Dez didn't have a DB within 5 yards.

Pointing that out isn't crapping on Dak, its a fact and its perfectly valid to look at the stats with that kind of context in mind.

Ok. Here are some stats.

Eli Manning had more passing yards and 2 times the completions against the Steelers as Dak did against the Vikings. Yet. Eli threw two picks and the Giants got beat down.

The Cowboys won their game. The Giants did not. How's that for context?

There are and I did not mean to bring out trolls even though it was inevitable but there has been a difference in the last 2 games from my perspective and it does give me a bit of concern.

By the way, Rodgers and Stafford both did not have close to their best games against Minn so it begs to reason that Minn would give Dak a very hard game.

I like Dak for the future but I think if we want to win the super bowl this year. Romo is our guy
Tony will never survive a playoff run. I'm worried about even putting him in a week 17 meaningless game. Those Baltimore and Minnesota defenses were brutal. I can imagine what would have happened if Tony played in those games.

Some people seem to think Dak should be perfect. The truth is he has exceeded all expectations for a rookie and should be expected to struggle in hostile environments when the guys around him aren't playing up to par. Yet he finds a way to win over and over again. He is learning on the go and has a knack for making the right decisions and the right plays at the right time. What do people want?

EDIT: I'm not yelling at you @aikemirv. I just don't understand some posters here.

Last 2 games - 60 dropbacks - 29 completions and 14 runs -48.3% completions on dropbacks

First 10 games - 363 dropbacks - 214 completions and 33 runs- 58.9% completions on dropbacks

Now I have not taken out designed runs from scrambles but he has had very few so I don't think it is applicable.

Is it the defense we are playing or are teams figuring out his tendencies and taking them away? He has had more difficulty finding receivers - it is noticable.
60 is too small of a sample size.

Honestly, I don't even know who could be referred to as a troll. I see the same doubters as there have been from day one. I see people who wanted Romo to return. I see people who aren't all aboard the Dak train. I see people who just have general concern.

What I don't see are people crapping all over him which was implied.

What are we to think when a poster criticizes Dak for missing a wide open Dez deep but a few posts later dismisses his stats because he hit a wide open Dez deep?

That isn't context, that is some random things you pulled out to support a preconceived opinion.

Numerology isn't context. Neither is the Pig that picks winners by sniffing at pictures of team logos.

He hasn't thrown for 200 yards in either game. He has the best pass protection I've seen in the NFL for about a decade. Yeah I'm worried

You didn't watch many Patriot games the past 10 years obviously.

The last time he played Seattle in their building. Romo shredded them

I'm talking about the preseason game. He couldn't even make it out of a preseason game in tact. And that was the more recent game.

Over a 2 game period in 2014. Romo dropped back 64 times and only had 34 completions.

See? I can be selectively objective as well and pick arbitrary stats to push an agenda!!!

What you mean to say is that you hope that he wouldn't survive a playoff run.

Even with that said, at this point it is indeed a question of whether or not he could actually stay healthy, no doubt. Because in my opinion if he could, he is by far the better player at this point.

I haven't enjoyed a season like this since 2014. I have been very impressed with Prescott, but all of the fans here that act like he is a one man show makes me laugh. Some of you want to bring up trolls, well that seems awful trollish.

There are alot of things that Prescott does well and there are some things he has to learn, but as has been mentioned, most of you act like he is above criticism for whatever reason. And that's ridiculous.

Except the fact that Romo has nothing to do with Prescott's play.

So instead of pushing your agenda, try staying on topic.

3 games in 12 days, finishing up against arguably the best D in the league will do that. The whole offense was in a slump last Thursday.

We played the 1st and 3rd best defense in the league within those 12 days. Let's leave out this minor detail however. There is an agenda to push.
