Tony will never survive a playoff run. I'm worried about even putting him in a week 17 meaningless game. Those Baltimore and Minnesota defenses were brutal. I can imagine what would have happened if Tony played in those games.

I think the memo on Romo would be to hit him hard and drag him to the ground, putting your full weight on him if possible.

What you mean to say is that you hope that he wouldn't survive a playoff run.

Even with that said, at this point it is indeed a question of whether or not he could actually stay healthy, no doubt. Because in my opinion if he could, he is by far the better player at this point.

I haven't enjoyed a season like this since 2014. I have been very impressed with Prescott, but all of the fans here that act like he is a one man show makes me laugh. Some of you want to bring up trolls, well that seems awful trollish.

There are alot of things that Prescott does well and there are some things he has to learn, but as has been mentioned, most of you act like he is above criticism for whatever reason. And that's ridiculous.
Hey if Tony came in and led us to a SB I would be happy. It would cement him as a HOFer IMO. Some just want to ignore the fact that Tony has played in 4 regular season games in 2 seasons and has gotten hurt in 2 of them. And I've heard over and over again how Tony is in great shape. I'll believe it when I see it. Not to mention he hasn't played in a year. To think he's just going to go in a game and pick up where he left off in 2014 is a stretch. I guess it's all on the other foot now because for years Tony was the one that was above criticism for some people.

Sure that will happen. The Ravens and Vikings defense would have did it over and over again. Can you imagine what would have happened in that Viking game because our running game wasn't working?

If he were the better player, why didn't he win a Super Bowl in 2007, 2013, and 2014? Better yet, why has it been 14 years in the league, 10 starting, 2 playoff victories, never even seen the NFC championship game? Please blame it on the other players, because that's what Romo fans are about.

Fair enough.

Tony has been the most criticized player in the league over the last five plus years, in my opinion.

I'd like to point out that some of the same people who held Tony above criticism are the same ones who have Dak on a pedestal. The irony is not lost on me. lol

I think, at this point, even discussing Romo is a moot point til the offseason, unless Dak gets injured.

I can't speak to the Commanders game, but the Vikings are known to be susceptible to qbs taking off. Even Stafford ran a few times on them on Thanksgiving.

And the premise is on quarterback and not good secondaries for both the Ravens and Vikings?

Again, another clueless post from a clueless person. I've read alot of your posts and have about puked at some of your absurdities.

This is a team sport and not one player wins anything.

Did you not watch the divisional playoff game in 2007? Did you not watch what happened at the end of the Green Bay Divisional game two years ago?

If you think that was Romo's fault then it's worse than I thought.

Last 2 games - 60 dropbacks - 29 completions and 14 runs -48.3% completions on dropbacks

First 10 games - 363 dropbacks - 214 completions and 33 runs- 58.9% completions on dropbacks

Now I have not taken out designed runs from scrambles but he has had very few so I don't think it is applicable.

Is it the defense we are playing or are teams figuring out his tendencies and taking them away? He has had more difficulty finding receivers - it is noticable.

I can't help but wonder if you'd be equally as critical if Romo were the one owning those stats. Would you find fault with him as well?

I don't even know why Romo has been brought up in this thread, this was a thread about Dak struggling. I have no problems criticizing him at all when he makes a mistake. When he throws an interception, or when he fumbles the ball for no reason, or just can't hit his receivers during the game, taking unnecessary sacks.

I'm still waiting for those things to happen all the time, and it hasn't. People talk about, oh, he didn't hit this wide open guy over here. Do you know that happens through out the league everywhere? Those are simple minded critiques designed for guys who support Tony Romo, who by the way, flopped up in his last big playoff game.

And vice versa correct? Those who criticize Dak, are the same ones that went to battle for Romo year after year. I think it's a catch 22.

Oh yeah, just like I said. It's always someone else's fault. Romo will go down as the guy who others messed up around him. Gotcha, no one will remember Romo in 5 years except you.

Maybe they figured him out maybe its a couple of defenses maybe its a couple off games. Im not real worried about a 2 game sample size especially when the team won each game.

Instead of continuing in your illogical nonsense, why don't you answer the damn question?

Did you watch any of those games I mentioned? Did you watch any of the last 8 years of football?

You probably have no idea as to what happened in those ballgames and you don't care. So don't come on here lecturing anybody about anything with your crap.

A stereotype to disprove a stereotype...oh well.

I wonder where agenda vs agenda goes...

LOL you don't mind criticizing him?

Who are you trying to kid here. Sure you do and that's your problem.

How did Tony Romo flop up in his last big playoff game?

I'll ask again. Did you even watch the game 2 years ago?

Not even a little bit.. lol

There are some who genuinely didn't like Romo...and they are now Dak's biggest proponents. There were some who only liked Romo, because he gave the team the best chance to win, but they didn't necessarily like him as a player. They got on the Dak train pretty quickly, too. And then are a couple.. who were Romo superfans and dared you to speak negatively of Romo. From my perspective, they were almost as annoying as reading people who legitimately didn't like Romo. But those same Romo superfans are now Dak superfans.. again.. just as annoying. lol

Romo looks real good sitting on the sideline where he belongs.
2007 - Romo with a high powered offense only managed about 200 yrds, only managed 17 points. How sad.
2014 - Romo, instead of going for the 1st down, cost his team on a 4th and 2 by throwing a low percentage pass to Dez Bryant. The guy is dumb in big games.
