All you can do is put the best team you can out there and hope for the best.Yes but when good isn't enough to get to the Super Bowl why pay good great money? That is the sickness of NFL front offices these days.
Getting rid of a good QB, without an upgrade available, simply isn't a good strategy.
Aaron Rodgers was as great as they come, and he "wasn't good enough to get to the Super Bowl" in 14 of his 15 seasons as a starter.
If getting an elite QB was easy, every team would do it. Ask a Jets fan about how many times they've tried. They'd LOVE to have a QB who's on Dak's level.
