NO! I think those 2 losses, especially the heartbreak we suffered, followed by that utter humilitation was enough to get me even more interested than I already was. I dont care what we did over those 8-9 years, especially since most of them were terrible seasons anyway..I'm in the now, where we have a shot to be good, and so does Washington, and losses mean more than before (where you were expecting like 8-10 in a season)

Cowboys v. Skins used to be the best rivalry until the mid 1990's. After that, the Cowboys dominated so much that it became more of a automatic W for the 'Boys.

If the Skins can build on their success against the 'Boys from last season then it may become an intense rivalry again, but for now, Cowboys v. Eagles is the main rivalry of the season.

The Green Slime Birds are nothing! They have not done anything to proclaim they "are an elite" team! They wish they were...but, nope...

The Slime Bird fans are like that guy that shows up at the prom...he's ugly as ever...but, he shows up anyway...with the ugliest girl in school! They both show up, get their picture taken...and think they are in the same class of beautiful people...like the guy that came in a Cowboy jersey...with the Homecoming Queen!

I stopped reading when you wrote ..."the 3 elite teams were based on having 5 SB wins. No doubt, this is truly an outstanding accomplishment, but what about the Miami Dolphins ...you want to tell me that their 17-0 Season does not qualify them as an "elite" team? And ...no one ...no one has repeated that eliteness!

Just because a team has never won a SB (or NFL Championship), it does not disqualify them from the "elite" team category. Just something to think about Cowchips.

Earle "Greasy" Neale. Steve Van Buren. Norm Van Brocklin. Chuck Bednarik. Historically, the Eagles are hardly championship deprived. And choosing to count championships starting at 1966.. you could just as easily start counting them at 1996, in which case it is Denver and New England that rule.
