Great point….and meanwhile Joe Burrow beat the Bills in Buffalo, in the snow, without 3 of his starting lineman…….that’s what elite quartebacking will do.
How did that "Elite" qbing work for Allen???

So $40 million a year gets you 2 boneheaded interceptions, a regulation pick 6 that was dropped, three failed throws on crucial big plays to wide open receivers (we only needed one executed throw) and only 3 points when special teams turned the ball over at the oppositions' 20 yard line. All with very acceptable o line play.

I guess $40 million doesn't go very far these days...
Ask the other qbs making more who failed to even make the playoffs, or failed to even win a game in the playoffs.

Ya that washington game dropped him from

2nd in completion percentage
6th in QBR
2nd in TD%
top 10 in rating.

We can pretend he didn't lead the #1 offense and #1 3rd down offense and top 3 scoring offense when he played though.
Did you adjust everyone's stats by removing their bad game?

Well, he didn’t actually say that it when it comes down to after Pollard and cd lamb, we have nothing.

Brian baldinger on Dallas ,
CD Lamb was moved around like a 1 - he has stats like a 1 .
He’s not a 1
He’s no chase brown etc
They asked a LOT of him.
He’s a 1B tops - not enough.

After that DALLAS has no weapons after pollard got hurt.

They are in major need of Speed and weapons .

Dak not enough around him .

Horrific early int - he threw that same pick earlier in the year . He didn’t even look just threw it .
Micah Parsons was unbelievable- he blew up their all pro tackle - played the middle v Deebo v kittle - kittle couldn’t block him.
Then played the outside .

But the Dallas D is more Quinn than talent.
If Quinn leaves it’s a disaster .

SF have no weakness anywhere - and Dallas had a legit chance.

SF D zone is unbelievable and completely befuddled Dak.

Tyron Smith handled Bosa - he’s not done .

Hosts wondered about keeping Smith and letting Steele leave - save $10 million .

Philly best secondary in football

SF best LB’s

Philly best in trenches

To restate he really really emphasized that losing Dan Quinn is a disaster

We'd be really stupid to let Steele leave.

He's definitely wrong about Lamb not being a #1 though... that's just stupid.
Agree 100%. Don't ask an ex OLineman about WRs. When asked who is his favorite WR is in the game today, Tyreek Hill said, "I ain't gonna lie, I like CeeDee Lamb. That boy so smooth."

Lamb proved all he needed to prove this year. We just need to find Batman a Robin.

No I said going into the last week.
But if you remove Dak's worst regular season game, it makes sense to do it for everyone regardless of when it happens.

Dak finished the entire regular season based ranked exactly what I listed. You want to adjust it by removing his worst game, which happens to be his last, but not give the same level of consideration to every other QB on the list.

Seems............ questionable.

What good are more weapons if the QB doesn't see them open and throws the ball to guys in the wrong jerseys?

Baldinger is absolutely right.

Many hate Dak, but truthfully, Dak had no weapons around him other than CeeDee and Pollard.

What Dak needs to do is what Zeke is offering in order to remain in Dallas: take a good sized paycut. Help the team be able to keep key players and be able to bring in a few more weapons via free agency.
Having no weapons didnt make him throw those 2 interceptions, the 1st one he didnt even look and just threw with no pressure , if he looked would have seen CB has let Gallup go and jumping the route. If he lead Gallup it would have been a pitch and catch for a long gain.

2nd was worst , even if that was the play call he shouldn’t have thrown , kept the ball and picked 2 yards, of throw legitimately so taht WR can get it, not to his knee / ankle.

I think Cee Dee, Pollard, and most of the TEs qualify as weapons. The whole sign Gallop and rush him back from his ACL was monumentally stupid.
Pollard *was* a deep weapon on the *one* time during his rookie contract that we sent him deep.
60 yard TD.

Lamb is one of the better yac guys in the league. You can look that up statistically.

Lamb isnt top 5, but he is top 10.
On a per-catch basis, Lamb is a fairly average YAC receiver. His overall total YAC yards is elevated by the number of targets he gets due to the lack of options Dak has on offense:

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nfl-receiver-rankings/

With 50 being the overall NFL mean, CeeDee approximately values at a 49 when it comes to activities after a catch was made

No he’s not

Lamb isn’t explosive he isn’t a YAC guy - he isn’t Chase or Hill or Jefferson or TO or Dez or Irvin like.

He has a great year but he’s not top 10

You lost all credibility when you said he's not a YAC guy. Or explosive. Or top 10. Name me 10 receivers better, I wanna see what you come up with!
