Just going by the eyeball test, Dallas looks to be the 3rd best NFC team judging by Dallas' slow starts and how consistent the Eagles are on both sides and how dominant the 49ers defense is, along with their efficient offense unless the Cowboys really flip a switch and show out against the Eagles on Xmas eve finish the season strong, it may be a short Playoff stint.
The Cowboys won't face either of those teams in round 1.

The Cowboys lost to the Eagles because Rush threw 3 INTs. The Eagles defense gave up a much higher yards/carry, more passing yards and higher completion rate. Dallas had 4 sacks vs zero for Philly.
The worst thing about the Eagles is that they can beat you in several different ways.
If something is not working they adapt quickly and why they only have a single loss on the season currently.
Pains my soul to see it and have to say it, but its truth until proven otherwise.
Dallas gets to prove it coming soon.
I don't care what anyone says about that game not being of the utmost importants, its pivotal when you prove who the real big kid is on the block.
Better not look past the Jags if this team has learned anything, but Philly is on their minds nonetheless.
Looking at the schedule just a few weeks back looked like Houston and Jags was going to be soft part of the schedule, how fast thoughts change.

Agreed. The cowboys are capable of playing at that level but are far too inconsistent. The niners defense is leaps and bounds better than the cowboys.

And the eagles offense is way more consistent and explosive. Dallas might win one playoff game, but they aren't going to San Francisco in the 2nd round and leaving with a win

Yawn...........of course thats the opinion after a win like this week. Dont be like the rest of these week to week opinion clowns on TV.

Cowboys have been #3 for a long time now. Nothing has changed because of last week. And nothing will change even if we win by 50 this week.

Pretty much means everything. Their signature win was at home against a team playing you at tackle.

For anyone that knows football it means nothing. So what does that fact mean to you? Have you even watching the niners play this year?

This should be a good one. Please share your expert knowledge about SF.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t care what happens Christmas Eve. Let them take 2 during the season. It would be much more meaningful and fulfilling to beat them in round THREE! That’s what you call a Dagger to the Heart!

Have you seen Dak and his turn overs lately? Not sure why Rush gets hammered but Dak gets a pass and excused "it was the receivers fault". Dak needs to show up and we will win.

I just asked you. What does your pointless fact about the Niners record and schedule mean about their team?

Or do you draw a blank when asked to explain your position?
It means they’ve performed worse against a much easier slate? It is only pointless to someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about which is why you’re flipping out about it. I’m sorry my post upset you. Maybe think about why it would?

Just going by the eyeball test,

Just going by the eyeball test, Dallas was not favored at all.

Just going by the eyeball test, Dallas was never going to win this game.

Dallas was surely not favored in this game. The eyeball test told everyone this.

I suppose I could do this for a while. Posting games Dallas was meant to lose. But you get the idea.

Nothing is set in stone in the NFL until it is history. Tme for this 26 year old drought to end and Dallas write history in three inch headlines.

Such an original opinion. There’s definitely not already multiple threads with the same claim.
And for good reason! Many of us just don't see the consistency of play especially in Dak like we do in Hurts and the 49era defense. The Cowboys defense relies basically on Parsons and both the 49ers and Eagles have shown how to slow down Parsons with scheme. I hate to say it but the 49era appear better with Purdy than Jimmy G. That doesn't bode well for the Eagles or Cowboys.

People who use this forum for emotional insurance are the worst. No matter what happens, they have an out. Since they predict doom and gloom all week, they can come back and beat their chest about being right. If the Cowboys win, they celebrate the victory.

Be better humans.

I've got the Jags winning on Sunday.

That's not the game i would be worried about....eagles may be resting some of their guys in this one with possibly the division clinched by then. So i definitely would not be shocked.
I would much rather lose that game and win the divisional round. Let them win the 24th and get overconfident against us.
