Freeman wants to get traded because he's not the starter...what makes you think he'd sign a new deal, for less money, in Dallas to be the backup? lol

lol, it also shows how rare it is, you are correct about that. But Plunkett was that guy. A true franchise QB out of Stanford, ended up on a horrible Patriots team and got beat up. Goes to SF and does nothing there. Finally goes to Oakland as a backup at 32 years of age, ends up becoming the starter, and they won 2 Super Bowls with him.

I don't know that he would. I was asking the question if he was willing to do that would we want him? Lets be honest, Dallas is one of the few places where a guy might be willing to take less money and agree to a lesser role if he thought there might be a future in it.

Actually, I should have worded it differently in my original post. All I meant it, if he was willing to make contract changes so that it made it affordable for us. I'm just giving you a hard time anyway . Like I said in my first post, I don't even know if it is possible.

I know you aren't being serious, but honestly, Freeman vs. Sanchez from a physical ability point of view isn't even close. Sanchez can't compete with Freeman from that standpoint.
