The point is that the QB is not the problem with Dez.
The qb is part of the problem, you're being disingenuous.

The latter. The number of catchable passes that were incomplete is listed under "DP," but those are not counted as completions in the numbers. Thanks for the info.
So do these numbers account for "catchable passes/balls," or is it just the simple attempts/completion data?
For 2017. The last number of every line is the passer rating on that player's targets at that distance and/or area of the field.
Next to the target distance is the catch rate, yards per attempt, and passer rating, combined from all three directions (L, M, and R) at that distance. Dez caught 73% of his targets under 10 yards, for example. Each target at that distance gained an average of 6.6 yards, 56% of his yardage was after the catch, with a 79.4 passer rating.
Below the target distance, the direction of the pass is broken down (L, M, and R). For example, on passes between the numbers (middle) less than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage, Dallas QB had a 91.5 passer rating when targeting Bryant. This included 148 yards after the catch and 5 dropped passes.

Like I said sometimes you gotta use your eyes I mean Dez didn't get a lot of double coverage last year either Beasley was the one that drew the doubleWhat type of coverage did Dez have vs Butler? The stats don't include that info, I've never seen Butler or Williams getting saftey help over the top coverage.
The stats indicate that the QB is not the problem. The qb is part of the problem, you're being disingenuous.
He did not drop passes at a higher rate. That a dumb analogy he caught all of 2 balls more X he also dropped passes at a higher rate with less throws, which means had he had more targets he'd double Dez's drops.
Brice is still looking for work, had Dez been cut he would've been a tier 1 signing. give it up...lol
Oh and I thought stats don't matter, they don't tell the story...lol
Hanna is a blocking TE.We'll Williams plays outside. He's not as good as butler or Dez. I would never extended his or Hannas contract. Why are they here w their 0 tds.
Maybe it’s maybeline.So on over 20 yards:
Dez 4 of 19
Butler 6 of 9
Butler caught more with less than half the targets.
Maybe it's not the QB...

Dez dropped 5 passes from slot....translation to me is that he should not be put in slot.
The point is that the QB is not the problem with Dez.
Hanna is a blocking TE.
Dez caught 69 passes. Williams projected to 90 catches with the same number of targets as Dez.
Dez had a low number of TDs for #1 WR.
Come on Man you know it is about pinning down to one player for all the whoas on offense. It used to be Tony not its someone else and when he is gone it will be someone else.So Antonio Brown is going to come here and produce at the same level he does in Pitt?
Same for Julio?
Are you serious?
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...So on over 20 yards:

It does.... But the peanut gallery will twist the narrative to make it seem as though Dak should also be running to catch the passes he throws and gently handing them off to Dez.That highlights how bad Dez is.
Like I said sometimes you gotta use your eyes I mean Dez didn't get a lot of double coverage last year either Beasley was the one that drew the double
Starting with the 1st game Dak threw some deep balls to Dez and he not only missed timed his jump He gave no where near the effort he has in past seasons. in fact I haven't seen that effort since he
was Injured.
I said during the romo years that if Dez Kept leaping so high in the air and then crashing to the ground his body was gonna give out in a few years and it has
Generally, the coverage on a fourth receiver is going to be by the third or fourth corner or even a safety. Few teams look at an offense and say that they've got to do everything they can to stop that fourth receiver. It's silly to look at this comparison and believe all things are equal.
Now, if we want to look at the failure of Dak and Dez to connect on those longer passing, I think that's a legitimate concern. But to draw conclusions about Dez and Butler based on this is similar to those who were saying Hambrick should be starting over Emmitt Smith because Hambrick's numbers as a backup were better. Different roles cannot be judged on an equal basis.
