Romo has great stats but I think ppl see a little Clint Stoerner in Romo!

Clint went to a much better school and played in the SEC, right. Romo played at a Junior College... and should get credit for his play up to date.

A better comparison instead of Eli Manning would be Peyton in his first few years of the NFL. It took Peyton 96 games before he won a playoff game. This weekend will be Romo's 39th game as a starter. (Not to mention this is only Romo's second full season as an NFL quarterback)

If you look at what he has done instead of looking at all the negatives its easy to see what this guy does for the team. Its the fact he plays for "America's" team and he going to take scrutiny until he wins a playoff game and better yet, a Superbowl ring. Peyton didn't take near as much heat in the beginning as Romo does and he made the same type of mistakes.

Eli at this point is better than Romo.

Yep, when they went head to head two weeks ago, Romo threw two interceptions and Eli had two touchdowns, right?

Romo has his faults, and sometimes they are glaring, but let's not make Eli out to be more than he is, an OK quarterback who is only as good as his team plays. Romo has the ability to elevate his team; Eli can only go as far as his team's running game and defense carry him.

tyke I call you out on that. Eli threw up a prayer and a great catch was made- the IMPORTANT pass was not a ELI play. It was ALL on the receiver. Even Brad Johnson could have made that pass to burress for the TD. He was pretty much wide open.

So Eli avoiding the sack and throwing the ball was all David Tyree.

Okay.

Yeah, Eli didn't do anything remarkable at all moving in the pocket, buying time and throwing a downfield pass with defenders draped all over him. Hell, Brad Johnson could have made that play left handed and blind folded.

I've been a huge Eli critic over the years. Still a Romo supporter. But last year, once the Giants hit their stride, Eli changed. Its as if him and Romo switched brains. Romo has become the turnover machine, and Eli, although at times still has erratic games, is much more consistent than Romo

I know, it's blasphemous!! But think about it.
That DOOFUS can march his team downfield for the
tying TD, & 2 pt conversion.

He's done it in the Super Bowl for gosh sakes!

We have yet to see Romo pull one out when it really matters!

Right now, Eli's playmaking in the clutch is the difference
between him & Romo!

Now excuse me, while I go throw up!!!!!!!!
:puke:

I would take their back-up QB Carr over this ****stain QB for the Cowboys

^^^ EXTREME HOMER/HATER ALERT ^^^

At this point, arguing that Romo is better is
just sheer stupidity.
Romo has better "tools" than Eli, but I'd take
Manning for his "game-mngt/bus driver" skills over
Romo, ANY DAY!!!

Here's an illustration of what's gone down today:
