The Cowboys had to make a choice last year on who to cut between McFadden, Morris, and Jackson. Jackson was younger and much cheaper. They chose to keep McFadden and Morris. And now Jackson has a bad knee too. He had his shot and didn't make it. It ain't gonna happen for Jackson here.

no need to sign any injured players but if he is OK he is one of many FA RBs I would bring in to replace Morris............ Morris is limited to a 2 down role and gives away our intentions when in the game.... he needs to be upgraded

Now we don't know to what extent, but the Browns at this point in the offseason value the roster spot over Jackson.

The coaches did. They watched games, practices, team meetings, position meetings and workouts and determined that keeping Morris and activating McFadden was more important than keeping Jackson.
